Oslo Tours in June 2027

There was a good blend of the standard and the new and unusual. New items were interesting and gave an excellent view of the local history and the local culture.

This holiday was amazing. The scenery through these countries is spectacular including all the cities/towns we visited. Our whole trip was very well organised. We stayed at fantastic hotels along the way. Our tour director and bus driver were very professional and friendly ensuring we were going to have the most memorable holiday which we did. I could never get tired of looking at such stunning scenery.

It is fast paced and those that have mobile problems will have a hard time keeping up. It was led by a most competent tour guide. The driver was excellent getting up to good viewpoints and hair pin turns. Extra options were great and helped the understanding of local life, history of Norway, and just meeting locals. The only thing I really have to complained about is the size Trafalgar picked as the limit of size! I have been on three Trafalgar tours. I find that it is really restricting as far as wardrobe goes and preparing for different weather situations! I also noticed that others use the size they want and will allow them to be more flexible with needed footwear and layering opportunities. There were more people that did not have the size luggage than those of us who follow your guide lines. Being a retired teacher and knowing how people follow restrictions I don’t think anyone should be forced to bring a certain size size luggage. One piece of luggage for the underneath is a limit I can live with but the size you want us to follow is not possible! Please don’t restrict us to one size(which is very small) when you don’t enforce it for others! Thank you!

Picture Postcard Scandinavia Our thanks to from Global Journeys who did a fabulous job and paved the way, to help us effortlessly join Insight Vacations Grand Scandinavia Tour. We had a great mix of mostly Australian and New Zealanders with a few people from the US. June was a great time to go because everything was a vibrant green and with spring blooms but also there was snow on the mountains tops and the weather wasn’t too cold. At every turn there was stunningly beautiful scenery. Also our Tour Director, was the best we have ever had. He made the whole tour and the places we visited come to life with timely insights, information, music, video, and treats :) and all with a smile. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

The trip was absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed it. The "Greg Mortimer" was fantastic. The food and accommodation were perfect. The crew and expedition team were so kind and helpful. We visited some amazing places and saw some incredible sights. Visiting the bird cliffs and sailing through the pack ice were two of my highlights that will stay with me for a long time. My only quibble would be calling this trip "The Realm of the Polar Bear" as the chances of seeing a polar bear are virtually nil. Even if you do, you have to stay 500 metres away and most likely get away from the area fast. DO NOT go on this trip purely to see a polar bear because you won't, but there are so many other fantastic things to see anyway it's well worth going

Tove, our guide, was knowledgeable and personable. She brought our group together with her humour and inclusiveness. Our tour through Norway was a great mix of activity and downtime and the country was just beautiful.
