We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Back Roads for a small group interesting tour. Our guide Sylvia was excellent looking after our needs and provided wonderful communication. Our driver was skilful and safe. The accomodation was always interesting and comfortable. The towns were a highlight and staying two nights in several places was a real bonus. You need to be quite fit and able to manage steps and stairs comfortably.

It was a great trip. Well organized and prepared. I could not ask for a better more enthusiastic leader than Satva. It had a great mix of walks with plenty of extra free time.

This trip was everything I imagined and so much more. Communication with the company right from the start was impressive. Carmel was very informative and helpful since I really did not know what to expect. I was able to meet with my group with ease, and the guide knew my name as soon as I walked up to him, which put me at ease and made me feel welcome. The accommodation was authentic and charming. I appreciated the family-oriented lifestyle. Getting to know the family and watching them work the farms daily chores was all part of the experience. Our guide Genarro was a master of his craft. Born and raised in Almafi, he was full of knowledge about the history and culture of the area and its locals. The hikes were absolutely breathtaking, with the guide giving you plenty of time for rest and water. Everyday was a new adventure and it got better each day. I had a chance to make pasta and mozzarella at the farm house it really made you feel a part of a day in the life of a local. The tour was very well planned and far as transportation and timing. The food was so fresh and delicious how could it not be when it was probably just picked that day! This was a week I will never forget and will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

Gaia, was an amazing guide!! Very knowledgeable and informative, very upbeat and funny, she was a breath of fresh air, I looked forward to daily hikes and what the day entails, she had a great attitude to get all of the best out of all the hiker’s every day. A superb location and some stunning scenery on the walks. Our guide Gaia was fun and informative and made sure that all the group enjoyed the holiday. She was great. If you have difficulty with steps this is not the holiday for you !

Fantastic tour which covered so much, we would never have seen so much on our own . Fabio our tour leader went above and beyond ensuring everyone had a great time and lots of fun. Carmine our driver was a great driver and very helpful, we all felt comfortable and safe every minute.
