Naples Tours in November 2025

As a package this trip comes together incredibly well. The walk is nicely challenging for those used to hills, steps and uneven surfaces. I would grade it “moderate” rather than “leisurely to moderate”. Being based in one place for the week, in a small village away from the main tourist spots, was a bonus I hadn’t anticipated before the walk. The accommodation was peaceful and comfortable. The guide had an excellent knowledge of local history and its people. His stories and passion enriched the whole experience no end.

Pre information good, booking direct by telephone helpful, itinerary great and so pleased out of season no crowds / hotel very friendly, cheerful and good standard of meals delicious / blessed with 6 out of 7 fine days , scenery stunning . guide Matteo exceptional, in tune with the area and so enthusiastic to share the importance of its culture being part of its regeneration. Steps fairly challenging but the locals do it EVERY day! Even managed 2 swims in the sea & it was the 2nd week in Nov.

It met all my expectations. The guide was thoughtful and very organized she knew us well within a day or two. I personally had difficulty walking in the caves however received support from her to get through the cave. Then did the Grotto Sassi walk. I loved the places went and felt very safe. The people were very kind. I must comment on our driver. Such a kind thoughtful gentleman. He got off the bus at each stop to offer a hand if needed. Bus was immaculate. The trip would be different without our knowledgeable guide and driver.

This was a fantastic trip. Tour leader Pete looked after us all right from the start. He is very knowledgeable about the area and helped to make the trip so enjoyable. The itinerary is well considered and has a variety of fun activities. The agriturismo provides basic accommodation but is very clean and is set in a beautiful location. After seven days, I felt like we'd explored every part of this coastline and all its towns and villages. And late October felt like the perfect time to go. Highly recommended.

My wife Katie and I had a trip of a lifetime with this tour! The detailed planning and execution of Explore's itinerary on the Amalfi coast results in a superb vacation experience. We were thoughtfully guided and cared for by our expert guide Satva, who taught us so much about the area. She also did a wonderful job of coordinating numerous details, carefully pacing our hikes to accommodate everyone in the group, and getting to know everyone personally. We felt like one big family by the end of the week! It's difficult to pull out highlights of the trip when everything was so amazing, but I'll try to summarize a Top 10 here: 1. The family-run hotel in St. Lazzaro is very welcoming and charming. 2. Also, their pizza is world-class, and we took part in a pizza-making lecture that was very informative and personal. 3. Hiking through fields of herbs, where you can smell rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, and others just growing in the wild! 4. The ferry to and from Capri, and the day spent there. Stunning! 5. Swimming in the Tyrrhenian Sea on the main beach of Positano. 6. Enjoying lemon or Aperol spritzes and snacks during our daily aperitivi. 7. Hiking the Path of the Gods. 8. The pasta and mozzarella making class at a small local farm! 9. The day trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum. 10. Meeting other hikers from the US, UK, and Canada and hearing their stories. We are looking forward to traveling with Explore again soon and can't recommend them enough!

Our holiday was great from start to finish. The hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our guide, Matteo, was simply brilliant. He was full of interesting information about the Amalie region, being a born and bred local himself. His routes were great and he managed our group extremely well despite our differing abilities. He always had a smile and a cheery word for all of us.
