Suju, Godlisten and Joseph - plus the chef, porters and the entire team helped make our hike up (and down!) Kilimanjaro something that I will never Forget. They made us feel like part of their family - and when you get to the end of the days hike and you see their warm smiles and feel their big hugs, you know they are willing you to climb to the top of Africa!

The guide Eric and the porters were all incredibly kind and helpful throughout the trek. This ensured I was in the best possible frame of mind and body for summit night. The route itself is scenic and offers gradual acclimatization.

I love every part of our journey! One of them was the games that we play as we hike. It helped us forget that we are hiking. It was fun. We liked the meals served every single day. They served plenty of food which we can't consume. The positive vibes, the care, the endless patience, the spirit of camaraderie, the swahili words that we learned, the love, and many more. Zara Tours did a perfect job of organizing our Kilimanjaro trekking trip. We took the Machame route and it took us six days to get us to the summit. We had an experienced support crew led by Senior guide Moses assisted by Issa. The tents were comfortable and the chef cooked nice food. Thank you for a very well organized trip.

If you are considering attempting Kilimanjaro, you are at the right place. Zara Tours did an amazing job of organizing our climb from start to finish. The trek worked out well from the great welcome when we arrived in Tanzania to the actual trek with an an amazing team of experienced guides, porters and chef. Their attention to detail is very impressive, nothing was left to chance. Despite the difficulty we had a fantastic time on the climb, the trail is very scenic with amazing views up to the summit. We had the best of everything; nice tents, great meals and even a portable toilet. I'm very impressed and recommend Zara Tours to other climbers.
