Milan Tours in May 2026

Absolutely wonderful tour and great itinerary! Highly recommend for a tour of Northern Italy. Travel time was planned smartly and efficiently to ensure the time was spent well. It's easy to add another extension before or after the group tour as well with Milan as a central location.

We saw a lot of sites in 6 days! You can't see it all at once, but this was a wonderful, safe way to travel and see many places, enjoy great company on the tour, and enjoy the country of Italy.

tour director was very nice and tries to accomodate my kids needs w/ gluten free etc wasn't happy the transfer person didn't show up at airport to take us to hotel b/c there was a delay in the flight and emergency number was no use as no one answered. but i supposed not trafalgar's fault but i think trafalgar needs to vent the transfer company better !!

I would like to inform others about the itinerary is the beautiful places that they will see. Especially the optional experiences like lake como, lake Orta and the borrowmean islands. Those lakes and the water surrounding it were personal highlights of mine. Any mass of water was picture perfect like the sea front in Genoa or in cinque terre. The travel director really did a fantastic job of communicating the beauty of itinerary with communication of the day ( including the itinerary), history of the places and highlights. The local specialists were fantastic too. I loved the tours itinerary it was a great variety of places without being too busy and seeing the perfect number of places. My friends and I arrived an extra day in Milan and got the perfect experience/had a good amount of time in Milan. We got to see Milan’s main cathedral ( a major highlight) but wouldn’t have had time if we only stayed in Milan for the tour’s free time. Hope that helps. Thank you for listening to my input,

Loved the itinerary to explore some of Italy’s Northern areas. So much to see and enjoy. Our tour director with 30 plus years of experience was fantastic. He always was available to help and guide with so many aspects of the trip. Our bus driver was awesome too & drove very safely to all areas we went to. This is very important as safety is number 1 for me & is for Trafalgar. Grazie Giuseppe & Giuseppe! All the areas we visited were amazing and I had so much fun. The hotels were perfect & nicely located to venture on your own. Recommendations would be to extend the overall tour by at least 2 days to allow a little more time to relax with the travels as it can be exhausting with the overall go, go timeframes. This would also allow more time between the travels to different areas, included excursions and the optional excursions. My 1st time with a Trafalgar tour & plan to do more :).

Wonderful memories of trip with spouse to Milan/Northern Italy! Our guide, was A+ in knowledge & personality! The local guides were equally well informed & entertaining! Would highly recommend this tour to family and friends.
