Mera Peak Tours in May 2027

Have done multiple treks with this tour company. Very good support from Mr Khum Subedi starting from the planning to completion of trip. Good itinerary at affordable price range. Trekking guides are highly experienced and friendly. Will recommend them to anyone.

I did the Mera Peak trekking over 15 days, organized by local tour specialists. Mr. Krishna Subedi (Kris) is the manager of the organization. He is a very good co-ordinator, puts you immediately on whatsapp when you arrive, and keeps following up your trekking and summit experience. When there were small problems, he immediately took action and contacted the right people. My guide Mr. Neyma Sherpa was also very helpfull and an excellent guide. The trek itself was very enjoyable. The Tea houses were very good and they were very flexible when i prefered another teahouse than the one they already booked. A few extra things to keep in mind: - The month May used to be the best month for Mera Peak but we had a lot of rain... May-be April or October is becoming better now... - Listen to your guide at all times and don't go up to fast. The trekking is also about acclimatizing. Sometimes you need that extra day at 4000m... - Take a portable solar panel with you and a power bank. (min 12W, 20W is better). It will pay itself back. You pay a lot in the teahouses to get your phone charged (a lot of them also use solar power). - I personally prefer not to rent climbing gear but to take my own. I always hike and climb with the same pair of C boots with semi-automatic crampons. My C boots are big enough to wear 2 pair of socks if necessary. My smartwhool socks were warm enough on the summit day (-10 to -15 °C) - Take a porter. They are not expensive and your hiking comfort will increase a lot. - Don't forget to use sunscreen, especially on the summit day when you leave at 2 am in the dark and you're not thinking about the sun at that time. - Make sure you are in excellent physical shape. After the summit, you will need 3 more days to get to Lukla.

Booked a Mera Peak trek through Bookmundi and it was all-around a great experience!!! Kris is very responsive, and generous people work there. They were very helpful with my arrival to and from the airport as well as great recommendations on hotels and activities in Kathmandu. Highly reccomend:)

Excellent, well organised climb. The guides looked after us well and always made sure we had plenty of tea and food to keep us going. They were fun and knowledgeable. It was good to go somewhere not so well trodden, and the views are stunning.

Good value for money in comparison with other agencies. Due to very reasonable acclimatization programme I climbed Mera Peak without any health issues. Khum was always helpful and willing to answer to all queries. Similarly, trekking guide and porter demonstrated good attitude to their work.

I just recently got back from Climbing Mera peak that was great experience for me. Service provided by Nepal Guide Treks was great. My guide Ang Dawa Sherpa was skilled climbing guide which he navigates to me up to Mera Peak. we across different village and landscapes of this region during trekking.when I reached the top of Mera Peak with my guide, What I said that was beyond my imagination. Thanks to my guide Ang Dawa to guide me and Mr Prakash arranging the beautiful memorial trip. I recommend this company those who want peak climbing and trekking in Nepal.
