Medellin Tours in Winter

This trip was incredible, maybe life changing? I honestly didn?t know what to expect, I knew a trek in the jungle would be hard but I had no idea how hard. That said, I?m so proud of accomplishing the Lost City trek and felt like I did it with an awesome group of people who made the experience that much better! The trek was the absolute highlight (despite the challenge) but being able to see more of Colombia with a local guide was also so fun. I knew so little about Colombia going in, but left with a true appreciation for the country and its culture and I hope to be back one day!

We were really really pleased with our wonderful adventure in Colombia arranged by Emmeline. I can't say enough about how wonderful the trip came out. I was worried at first because I didn't know anything about this tour agency, but I was so amazingly surprised. Everything was taken care of! Super super nice pleasant wonderful guides were there to take us everywhere. Super nice drivers picked us up at every airport and point of departure. Emmeline and her people really knew how to take wonderful care of Mitra and I - they gave us the vacation of a lifetime. I simply said that I wanted to see the real Colombia (and not the coast b/c I am averse to mosquitos) and voila - such a wonderful and enchanting experience. Thank you Emmeline!

This trip was a life changing experience for me and the four other folks that accompanied me. It take a while to get to the final destination, but when you arrive, your experience starts immediately. After a midway stop at a breakfast spot with an unbelievable view, you arrive in a rural town in Colombia and begin descending the mountainside to arrive at the river. The guides bring along a delicious meal which everyone eats while they set up the rafts and then you hop into the water. The guides are all highly qualified, passing international certifications for rafting and the next four hours are filled with experiences and rapids that will blow you away. Honestly, the scenery of the riverside, the knowledge that the guides passed along, and the never ending laughter created an experience I will never forget.
