Krabi Tours in Spring

Great trip highlighting Southern Thailand. Our Group guide, Mai, worked hard for us and is a great asset for Explore! Some comments though - Thailand continues to run largely on cash. Very few places accept card payments. This needs to be expressed more in the trip notes - so people can be better prepared. Accommodation - generally very good however we felt let down by the quality of the accommodation in Koh Lanta. Rooms were poorly maintained and felt tired and in some cases unclean. Towels and bedding were threadbare with old stains. General comment - may be one less day in Koh Lanta and one additional day in Krabi as we didn’t feel we got to know Krabi. For some of us it was only a few hours free time before meeting up for the final tour meal.

This trip was once in a lifetime, we really felt like we saw a lot of Thailand. There was a lot of variety; city, history culture, waterfalls, rivers, railways, caves, wildlife and beaches. I would recommend staying an extra night before in Bangkok there is so much to do, we did a hidden Bangkok bike tour as well as the grand palace and wot pho, river cruise etc. The excursion to cheow lake is great, saw bats in cave, jungle walk, and scenery is beautiful. I would also recommend staying an extra night in Krabi so that you have time to do the 4 island boat tours. We extended out tour by going to Koh Yao Noi where we saw oriental pied hornbills for 4 nights, a perfected to a brilliant trip.

I recently completed the Thai Intro 12 Day tour with Intro Travel, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From start to finish, our Group Tour Leader - Eilish - was incredible! Personable and friendly, she made every moment of the trip enjoyable and ensured everyone felt included and engaged. Her knowledge and enthusiasm about Thailand culture and history were infectious, making the journey even more enriching. Each activity was well-organized and gave us a true taste of Thailand’s diverse beauty. I can;t recommend this tour enough, especially with such an outstanding leader guiding us. If you;re considering exploring Thailand, this is the way to do it!

Just finished the Thailand 12 day Intro and absolutely loved it. Felt really immersive and like you really saw South Thailand. The activities were so fun especially the cooking class and Muay Thai but there was also a good amount of free time so that you could explore yourself or relax for a bit. My group leader was Eilish who was the best. Not only did we feel completely safe at all times and able to ask her for any advice but she’s so funny and truly an amazing person. Especially as a naturally quieter person I always felt included and she made sure we all had a great time. Amazing tour!!

Just finished the 12-day intro to Thailand to tour and had the most amazing time I could ask for. I’d highly recommend it as a great way of seeing so much over a 12 day period and a brilliant option for solo travellers. I really enjoyed the group dynamic the tour provided. This was not only through the fellow guests on my tour but also my group leader Eilish Spence as she could provide good local knowledge and could resolve any issues or queries and assist with onward travel while also being another friend in the group and allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable group environment. My personal highlight was a day in Koh Pha-ngan travelling around by Jeep visiting beaches, a snorkel spot, a lunch spot and finally a spectacular viewpoint bar for sunset! These places would be quite hard to find and/or get around without the tour, so it was great to remove all this stress, time and hassle. I would 100% recommend Intro to a friend and use them again for a future holiday.

The most amazing trip ever! Just finished the 12 day Thailand intro, and I would highly recommend. Everyone in my group was so so lovely and the leader Eilish was super friendly and supportive. So stress free, safe and a great way to experience all the best things to do and places to see in Thailand. Can’t wait to go on my next intro trip! Xx
