Kota Kinabalu Tours in Spring

My overall experience was very good. The trip was well organized and our CEO was resourceful, helpful, and entertaining, I think that the information provided gave a relatively accurate description of the trip and its level of difficulty and comfort and the level of fitness required. Most importantly, I learned a great deal about the peoples, customs and places we visited, things I did not know at all prior to the trip,. Our exposure to apes, monkeys, and elephants was outstanding!

Amazing trip. Fantastic intinerary. So much wildlife. CEO was excellent and so we?re all the local guides. Food was great at every hotel. Another Nat Geo trip of a lifetime.

I can absolutely recommend it. As always with G Adventures, everything is well organised. However, this trip is very physically demanding and should only be booked with the necessary hiking experience and physical fitness.

We are traveling as a family of four with our two girls, 13 and 11 years old for four months. This tour was a highlight of our trip so far. We absolutely loved the animals and the jungle as well as being exposed to the culture and people of Sabah. Our tour guide Nostalia was a fountain of knowledge and took such amazing care of us. The people of Sabah are friendly and welcoming and with our guide as a translator we learned so much more than we otherwise would have.

This was an absolutely fabulous holiday. It had been very well thought out to give us as much exposure as possible to as many aspects as possible of the wildlife of Borneo. The accommodation was good and we saw an amazing variety of animals, birds, plants and insects. The local guides were excellent at spotting things of interest and Sheila, our leader, was one of the best I have ever had, all done with a lovely sense of humour. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

I had a great time. Explore should make it clear in their information that this is not a good time to go to Borneo to see wildlife. We were told by all the guides that we should visit when the fruit is on the trees if we wanted to see animals. As this tour is specifically marketed as a wildlife tour - it was very light on wildlife. In my opinion (and of others in the group) it should be made clear that this is not the best time of year to visit for wildlife. It was disheartening to be constantly told that we would not see various animals during this season. Also, as a wildlife tour, we spent a long time in cities - Kuching and KK. Would have been better to spend more time in the wildlife parks. I don’t think this tour should be sold during the periods when spotting wildlife is unlikely,
