Killarney Tours in August 2026

Ireland was so beautiful and the expat tour hit all the great sites. Kerry was a great tour leader and Hugh drove the bus thru impossible streets without a hitch. Do not miss this tour!!

Terrific tour but then again we had excellent leader and driver, go Kerry and Hugh! The hotels were way, way above my expectations, nothing I can think of as a negative. Would suggest people doing this tour allow a good couple of days extra to visit Dublin, preferably at a hotel closer to the centre.

Fun to experience things with a nice group, we made new friends on this trip. The locations were stunning and many wonderful experiences. Hoped to stay in some spots longer, like having time to go through the castle and town in Kilkenny. But get that time is tricky on moving travels, overall I really enjoyed it. Milos was an exceptional driver as well!

Ireland is as stunning as you imagine. We were blessed to have some sunny, clear weather on a few days of our trip making the coastline even more amazing. The beer was delicious! The Irish are as kind, friendly, and welcoming as those in the Midwest. Kerry and Hugh were so kind, accommodating, and worked well together making the trip extremely safe and enjoyable. A few of the hotels on the tour are 2 stars at best. Sadly, the vegetarian food included with the group dinners at the hotels were not delicious. However, the beer made up for it! I would still take the tour again. It is peculiar that Dublin sightseeing is not included in the tour, even a city driving tour. If you wish to see Dublin, you will need to plan a few days independently of the tour. If you are considering this tour and have always wanted to see Ireland, book this tour. I have spoken to several people since I have returned that have been to Ireland and were only in Dublin or Belfast and did not experience the entire country and have regrets about not seeing and experiencing the Cliffs or the Ring of Kerry. This is a reminder that a tour of the entire country was the perfect way to see Ireland.
