Kas Tours in October 2027

This is a brilliant cycling holiday. I particularly liked staying with a local family in a hill village and eating delicious home cooked lunches in local's houses while in the hills. It is the hilliest group cycling holiday of the many "moderate" cycling trips that I have done. An ebike option would make this an even better holiday. We went in mid September and the weather was cool in the hills and lovely and warm by the coast. Our leaders Tarkan and Ali were excellent and chose excellent restaurants for evening meals. Recommended.

This was a great experience. An interesting variety of walks and a good balance between organised activities and free time to explore, swim, relax and dine out in Kas. The accommodation at Hideaway Hotel was perfect for the trip.

My best Explore holiday to date. The walking was fantastic and I mean all the walks, the views, the sea, and the weather. Nebil the guide was excellent, knowledgeable and fun. The food as expected was very good. I will go back and undertake the Lycian way.

Wonderful trip. Our tour leader Tarkan & Assalti were enthusiastic, informative and knowledgeable about every aspect of the cities & culture of Turkey. Both were patient with me as I was not as quick on the bike up those hills as were my fellow tour members. -Diane C

We enjoyed walks with amazing views and lovely beaches. They were, though, different to and harder than on the itinerary/trip notes eg the first day 'walk through olive groves' includes and a cliff edge section needing you to use a rope! However when Alper, our leader, realised that the new itinerary, that included a 14km walk, was not going to suit our very diverse group he worked hard to change it to include everyone. Kas is a lovely town with interesting shops and food and still busy in October. Hotel Artemis was good, especially the breakfasts and views from the roof top breakfast room. Alper organised excellent meals for us each night, including one where we sat just a metre from the sea. The group of 15 all got on well.

It was an excellent trip from start to finish. As long as you have a reasonable level of fitness (it is, after all, called Active Turkey), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
