Inverness Tours in June 2027

Varied program with knowledgeable leaders. It was ideal for people with an interest in wildlife, flora, archaeology etc but expert knowledge was not required or expected. The walks were not strenuous but there were lots of interesting things to see and the landscape was spectacular.

The trip went very smoothly--our bags were moved along to each place where we were staying in a timely manner. All accommodations were excellent in every instance. It was a stress-free walking trip!

Absolutely fabulous week. The itinerary with the mix of walks and places visited was spot on. Both walk leaders were incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the Orkneys, which added interest and excitement to our days out. The pace of the walking was well judged for the abilities of the group. Would very happily sign up for a further walking holiday with NorthWest Frontiers.

This was my first trip with Explore but I hope it will not be my last. The trip was great, the food and accommodations were better than expected, and the guides were exceptional.

The barge and walk the Great Glen Way was a wonderful experience. This was my eighth trip with them and as always, every detail was well organized and the trip ran exactly as described. As a bonus the weather, fellow walkers, our guide Lexi and the food were all just perfect.

Our expectations were well and truly met and we had a wonderful time Martin and Marco were excellent leaders - knowledgeable, personable and always willing to be of assistance Having the two buses was a great benefit. If we could offer a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a microphone and speaker in the bus as it is often difficult to hear the guide when sitting in the back row
