Ho Chi Minh City Tours in December 2026

Excellent cycling tour from beginning to end. It was everything the trip said it would be and so much more. Bing was a fabulous tour leader, always supportive and encouraging. His enthusiasm for his country and Cambodia shone through. He arranged wonderful places for breaks and stopped along the way to look in detail at things we would have otherwise missed. Thank you Bing for a memorable trip.

The trip was very comprehensive and our guide, Tien, definitely went above and beyond to ensure the trip ran smoothly and the group was happy, well informed and very well fed. We note the change of hotels for next year. The move away from large corporate hotels (particularly the Sheraton in Can Tho) is to be welcomed. Hopefully the new hotels will have more Vietnamese character. The pace was full on, there were few opportunities to relax and use the pool, spa or gym facilities at the hotels or explore independently. The visit to Can Tho and the Mekong was the weakest aspect. We would have preferred longer in Hoi An (even in the rain!) and maybe Ho Chi Minh City rather than the Mekong. Overall it was an amazing 2 weeks and a brilliant introduction to Vietnam.

Cycling tour was very short on distances, I thought we could have done more each day without impacting on the itinerary of the visits to places of interest. Some days I thought that the cycling was done just to fill in gaps

This was my first visit to Vietnam and my first experience with Explore. Everything Explore offered was just great - excellent pre-travel advice; knowledgeable and friendly in-country guide; great accommodation and food throughout the tour. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Explore to anyone looking for an insightful introduction to countries with which they may be unfamiliar. Looking right now for my next Explore adventure.

Yet another excellent trip with Explore. Each day was a new, diverse cycle ride providing a real insight to Vietnam - off the beaten track. Our guide Bình was so kind, full of knowledge and enthusiasm which he was so willing to share with the group.

All of the accommodations were very nice and comfortable, especially the beautiful homestay and the very kind family. The transportation and drivers were excellent. We would especially like to thank Bac for everything he did for us. He is a very professional and knowledgeable tour guide. He went above and beyond the duties and responsibilities of a tour guide to make this trip so special and enjoyable for us. He was always courteous, helpful and friendly. His knowledge, experience and professionalism exceeded any tour guide we have had with any tour company. He was able to answer all questions asked to him and explained in detail so much about Vietnam history, its people, food and culture.
