Reviews of our Halifax Tours for June
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Halifax during June.
Our manager, Bernadette Welsh, was excellent and made the trip!! Loved Peggy’s Cove, quaint fishing village. Loved the Cabot Trail scenery and seeing lobster fishing boats come in. Loved the lobster dinner the best! Loved Anne of Green Gabels! Some accommodations were excellent (The Westin), but some were in need of upkeep. Overall, excellent trip!
The itinerary was good. The only short coming was the fact that sites of interest are rather far between and a lot of driving time was needed to get to these sites. Not a Trafalgar issue but the nature of the area being toured. My wife and I did however not enjoy the Prince Edward Island Preserve Co. It did not meet our expectations and did not allow for her dietary requirements.
I really enjoyed the waterfront in Halifax. The Hopewell Rocks was enjoyable too. Unfortunately we had rain in Charlottetown so we didn't get to see as much of the town in our free time. The whole tour was very nice and we learned about the history of the places we went.
Need better hotels near the downtown, most clients are old,we were 3 with canes and had to walk 30 minutes downtown in Halifax and slso Beddeck. Also why is it another Hamton Inn included airport transfer but not the one we stayed at!The best hotel was in Charlottetowm ,all our hotels should have been that quality. The initial welcome dinner was atrocious,we went to Spain with Trafalgar and had paella for a welcome dinner.I must say there were some good things but many bad things,
