Reviews of our Frankfurt Tours for October
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Frankfurt during October.
The trip was very full but unorganized. The transportation bus was lacking in amenities and very uncomfortable. Guide was nice but I feel that more information was needed on daily activists.
The excellent arrangements of hotels, bus, driver, guide, food, coordination, punctuality, timings, discipline, size of group, mixing up of co tourists, river cruise and selection of countries. suggest trip should start from Vienna and end in paris. lunch can be had in a macdonalds during 45 minute break to driver so that tourists can be on their own for more time in the city centers. dinner to be made mandatory in indian restuarants.
I had a wonderful experience on my tour, A touch of Europe. Though the days themselves were busy and hectic, we were still given time to ourselves to explore each city as we pleased. The hotels were comfortable and clean and though they weren’t in close proximity to the cities, we still had easy access in regards to transport options if we wanted to stay out longer or continue exploring on our own. The buses were big and comfortable and each of our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Javier, who set up a group WhatsApp chat that we could sign up to . He gave us daily updates, tips, recommendations and times that we needed to be aware of. To get the most out of these tours you need to mindful and respectful of everyone in the group and be patient, as we are all ultimately going to the same places.
The itinerary was nice, and beautiful places were visited, breakfast was delicious. Having free time was also good. The number of people per tour seems excessive, the logistics could be improved: the group we started with was split and could have continued together until Frankfurt. The buses could be identified with the next destination or have the tour guide by the bus door, this way it would have been avoided the delay in Prague due to a couple of people getting in the wrong bus looking for their luggage in the lower storage compartment, regardless of how many times the tour guides repeated this to the travelers. The microphone volume was not high/clear enough for people sited in the back of the bus. Many people talking at the same time, made it difficult for some people to hear what the tour guide was saying. Our hotel in Prague was exceptional, location metro conveniently located across the driveway, view from our room, etc. We would tour that city again just to be in the same hotel. We would not do it if we had to stay at any of the other hotels in that city. The luggage rule was not enforced which created delays when going from Prague to Frankfurt which, in turn, reduced the time spent in the next city. We noticed people traveling with a huge suitcase, which probably was according to the rule of weight limit but, they also had a smaller suite case like the carry-on size for most airlines and a personal bag. One suggestion to avoid this is: have the travel agents making sure the travelers understand the rule sign an acknowledgement, and possibly telling passengers that an extra charge will apply for additional suitcases so that they can be transported separately to the next destination or the traveler will have to carry it with them inside the bus. The folklore dinner and show in Budapest was really nice but pricey, especially considering the fact that prices in Budapest are cheap. The dinner was good, but the meat in the main course was a bit dry.
