Our trip to Gokyo Lakes and the Renjo La Pass was amazing! Anand, our lead guide was great - always looking out for everyone to make sure each person was doing ok and enjoyed their experience. The rest of the staff - the cooks, porters and other guides, all helped ensure we had a great time. The food was something else - it was amazing to see just what could be made each day. This was our first trip with World Expeditions, but I certainly hope it won't be our last!

This trip was my intro to trekking and Nepal. At 67, I’m a late bloomer but loved every minute. The guide, porters and cook were fabulous, in fact, overfed us and worried we might gain weight there was so much. The scenery alone is worth the effort but the WE crew from meeting us at the airport to dropping us off, post trek were just brilliant. Subash was our guide and he walked beside me, encouraging me the whole trek, even when my legs said no more, Subash always assisted in me meeting my goals. Thanks Subash & WE, it’s a life long dream fulfilled.

I went a few trekking in Nepal with Dip & his team which was always with exceptional experiences. They are very friendly, reliable, strong effort and very efficient with their job even in a hard situation. They could do whatever I need with a very reasonable price too. Made everytime in Nepal of me so memorizing. Big thanks to them all.

What an experience! The 3 High Passes/EBC Trek is a must do, the scenery is absolutely stunning!!! I definitely do not regret to had choose this local tour operator for this trip. The bond with my guide ''Keshar'' was top, he really knows the mountains and definitely became a new friend along the way. Raj the owner was also super efficient helping me and answering all my questions really fast and super friendly too. I guarantee you guys that you will see me again for the Mera Peak sometime soon!! Four of us planned for the Everest base camp hike and we ended up choosing Himalayan Glacier to be our mountain guide. We had memories that will always remain close to our hearts. Comfortable night stays and lovely food all over and undoubtedly Shanker, the most charming, knowledgeable and funny guy ever. We will definitely book another trip in the Himalayas with you guys!

I chose a local tour agency when it came to booking my EBC + High passes trek in April 2021and boy am I glad I did that!! In summary, they have more than earned my highest recommendation.Raj, the coordinator, was incredibly accommodating from the beginning and closely worked with my schedule and ever-changing COVID guidelines to help book my trip. I only had 9 days off from work, and was comfortable with my training, but the shortest trip offered by any other tour operator was over 12 days. However, with Raj, he created an individualized itinerary for me and assigned me a fit guide/porter duo to set me up for success. He even personally picked me up from the airport and dropped me off after I completed my trek. My flight to Lukla got cancelled due to the poor weather, and Raj diligently worked with me to organize a Jeep to Phaphlu and a private helicopter to Lukla the very next morning due to my already annotated trip.My guide, Bisho, was enthusiastic, friendly, and was proficient in English. He did everything in his power to ensure I was able to accomplish my goal of completing the EBC+High pass trek in 8 days; and simultaneously, have an enjoyable and memorable trip. He ensured he pointed out all the notable peaks during our week of clear skies, as well as the history and significance of Sherpa culture and Buddhist traditions. Although I pre-medicated with Diamox, I felt some signs of altitude sickness one evening in Lobuche due to our lack of acclimatization days. On that evening, Bisho played cards with me, offered to give me a head massage, and sang a beautiful Nepalese song. He was up-beat, thoughtful, and calm throughout the tripif you have the option to choose a guide, I would strongly recommend you ask for Bisho as he will not disappoint!My porter, Jit, was similarly wonderful and ensured he kept up with our ambitious pace. He acted as an assistant guide and helped out with ordering meals and ensured that I was well-taken care of. In summary, the operator was an absolute gem amongst the 100s of tour coordinators offering the EBC +/- high passes trek. They have earned my highest recommendation, and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends!
