Tour guide was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Hard to pick one experience but she included some little-known options like the sacred wells/springs from way back in Gaelic history. Learning about the culture (through GAA games, description of architecture, etc.) was something I likely would have missed if I had gone on my own. THe thing I did not like (but which worked out) was that I understood our tour group was 6 people but that we needed 12 for a liaison. When I asked what this meant, I did not get an explanation that we'd be merged into a much larger group. I did not prefer being far away from towns for hotels such as Rine and Gerryvoe. Trinity City in Dublin was great. Upper level staff at Rine was also now very aware of how customer service is supposed to work. The actual servers and next level down employees were great. Just the top dogs acted like you were rather an encumbrance to be managed. Tour gets 5 starts largely because our tour guide, our bus driver and the places visited. Food was variable as was hotel.

This was our first tour with Collette (and only the second in 20 years). It was incredibly well-organized, the tour manager was knowledgeable, fun, a great story-teller and a really nice person. Everything was laid out for us what we were doing that day, what we were doing the next day, where to find good lunch and/or dinner places if they weren't provided on a certain day. The tour, Countryside of Ireland, was exactly that. Starting in Dublin and going to a stud farm, then learning (and playing) Gaelic games, going to islands, learning about the history and the people - it was all included. I would recommend this 100%

Our tour manger, Aidan Carrig, made the tour definitely to a memorable experience. He had the right kind of Irish humor that resonated with the group very well. The tour was well planned and there was a good rythm of planned sightseeing and free time. Not every meal was included, e.g. there was the possibillty to find restaurants and pubs on our own or skip a meal (and digest the Full Irish Breakfast). Aiden was always helpful to find a Pub or a bistro. Another asset was our always polite and helpful bus driver Mark, as well as all the local guides with lots of knowledge. A tour I can certainly recommend.

The boat ride up to the Cliffs of Moher. We had an exceptional day with the weather and the boat came so very close to the Cliffs. It was breathtaking!

This entire tour met my expectations fully. Our tour manager was very knowledgeable and always was attentive to our needs. Traveling by bus allowed us to truly see the countryside, and there were plenty of viewing stops included. Our stops helped us to truly understand the history and culture of Ireland. An added bonus for us was a tour bus driver who was also a photographer. He was able to use a drone and share spectacular photos of Ireland’s famous coastline and ancient castles.

I loved all aspects of the tour. We really enjoyed the Aran Islands which was where I had wanted to visit. You could have left out the goat farm.
