El Calafate Tours in May 2027

My tour of Patagonia both in Argentina and Chile was fantastic. The tours were well organised and highly memorable and not just because of the beautiful landscapes but also because of the guides, drivers and fabulous accommodation and food. The free days offered you the opportunity to choose unforgettable hikes. I hope to be on another tour with the same operator in the future.

This was a simply perfect trip from start to finish, with a group of experienced walkers and travellers, led by a charismatic guide, Xavier, through wild, remote places which appear frequently as the backdrop or subject of TV nature programmes. The vastness, emptiness and isolation of Patagonia has to be experienced to be understood - the feeling of standing on the side of a mountain range looking across hundreds of miles of wilderness and knowing there is no human there is incredible. We were fortunate to have as our Chilean guides on the W Trek, Polo, Anaïs and Cristian who did a lot more than "guide", injecting a sense of fun even on some of the more tedious parts of the walks.

I want to say thank you so much for all your hard work in the planning & organisation of my recent trip to your wonderful country. Everything went perfectly & the places I stayed were lovely, with great staff & good breakfasts - nothing was too much trouble. Travel & pickups were all on time & I had no problems. I had a marvelous time! I already have at least 2 friends interested in using your expertise for a future trip to Argentina. I myself am interested in coming back & possibly doing a cruise to Antarctica, so I may be contacting you again for advice on this. Thanks again & all the very best!

Every service was perfectly handled, from the transportation from the airport, to the suggested accommodation and excursions. I highly recommend this breathtaking experience, definitely a unique place with amazing landscapes and vibrant energy.

We spent unforgettable days in El Calafate. The Perito Moreno Glacier is really impressive. We recommend everyone to do the Minitrekking, because that way you can appreciate the glacier in a way that is much better than just seeing it from the catwalks. Our guide Mariano was able to answer all our questions and we will be eternally grateful to his great kindness.

Pudu Hotel in El Chalten was our most favorite hotel since the location was perfect, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. We loved the town of El Chalten. The other favorite was the Las Torres in Torres Del Paine. It is a beautiful lodge, though expensive. The least favorite Design Suites in El Calafate. It was quite far from the town. The food was of medium quality. The most favorite activities were treks in El Chalten (Cerro Torre), Base of the Towers (Torres Del Paine) and Perito Morino (El Calafate). All because of their natural beauty and the fun of trekking. The only suggestion I have for Perito Morino is I would have preferred a trek upto the glacier rather than only the boat excursion.
