Chiang Mai Tours in November 2027

I would certainly recommend this trip. There were many highlights and we ate some excellent food during the holiday. I particularly enjoyed the Thai massage in Chiang Mai and later that day the cooking experience with the Raunkaew Family. The visit to The Elephant Nature Park was special and we were lucky enough to be able to participate in the annual Lantern Festival during the trip. The Buddhist temples visited were all so fascinating and set in such varied locations, not always easy to access with lots and lots of steps, but well worth the effort. Our time unwinding by the river Kwai on a truly special floating hotel was awesome and I really enjoyed the visit to Bangkok’s Grand Palace. Woody, our tour leader was tremendous. He had a really engaging personality and he couldn’t do enough to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. He did have to deal with a few problems caused by torrential rain and flooding, which meant diversions and one or two programme changes, but nothing that spoiled the trip for us.

We had a great time. The itinerary was packed full of interesting and varied experiences delivered by a great tour guide. Woody worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful experience (despite the flooding which required work-arounds). Transport was via 2 small vans which were comfortable and well airconditioned - necessary for the hot weather and long distances covered. The hotels were all good and well located. Included airport transfers were also appreciated. This was our first Explore tour and we now understand why most of our group of 13 were multiple Explore users. Highly recommend this trip.

Traveling with the team made our multi-country trip stress-free and enjoyable. The itinerary was well-planned with sightseeing, local activities, and free time. We especially liked the mix of big cities and quiet, scenic spots. My travel consultant, Emilia was always quick to respond to any questions, and the whole experience felt very personal. If you book with them ask for her.

I loved the tour with Peanut and Butter. Those two guided us the whole tour, but they also were friends. We could come to them with every problem and they helped us. They showed us the most beautiful places of the north and were funny. My highlights were definitely the elephant sanctuary and the waterpark. I felt very safe with both of them and never had to worry about something. Even when i skipped an adventure they asked me for my plans and if everything is okay. Would do it anytime again.

Das Programm ist abwechslungsreich und lohnenswert, so dass man einen tollen Einblick in das Land und die Kultur bekommt. Auch abends bestand immer das Angebot gemeinsam mit der Gruppe wegzugehen (nicht immer im Preis eingeschlossen). Toll war auch unsere Group Leaderin, Tam: sympathisch, motivierend und unterst¼tzend.

Just returned from an incredible 18 day intro Thailand experience with Intro Travel. Our tour leader Tam was amazing, nothing was too much to ask and she went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible time. We were in the jungle during the lantern festival and Tam organised our own little lantern experience. Tam made sure that the group was well integrated and that we all had an amazing experience. Any future group would be lucky to have her as their leader.
