Chengdu Explorer Trips

Tibet was a magical place, I'm so incredibly glad that GAdventures offered a tour there, I hope that they continue to add more in this incredible country. Our CEO was excellent and made the tour a dream. If anything, I wish this trip had a little more active activities to allow us to experience the nature of this incredible place.

Tibet is a magical land across a mountain plateau that amazed us at every turn! It was a lifelong dream to finally visit the land of Buddhas, mountains , stupas and monasteries. G Adventures made the trip very special and we highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Tibet!

It was a fantastic trip with great memories. Howard was a great CEO. I would highly recommend this trip to friends. Hopefully GAdventures increases the tour variety in china. I'd love to go to Zhangjiajie and Chongqing but only the 18 to 30 something tours go there.

G Adventures made traveling in China easy! From the research on best routes and destinations to the myriad of included and optional activities, I don't think I could have planned the same trip solo. Our group was also fantastic and I came out of the tour with new lasting friendships. This was my first trip with G and I am excited to plan more!

Best trip I‘ve ever had! In a country I would have probably struggeled travelling on my own, I had the best CEO I could imagine. She was so helpful 24/7 and it was so much fun to learn from her about her country. The destinations were well choosen and it was a prefect mixture of nature and vibrant cities!!!

Ancient China well exceeded my expectations and Evan was an exceptional tour guide! Beware that almost everything is paid for using an app, which does not always work or allows you to pay large amounts, and also requires cell service. Make sure you have some cash with you at all times and a card you can use at an ATM. People speak little to no English, but are very friendly. Don't expect politeness or manners you are used to in the US. Every city or public place we visited was extremely clean and Chengdu was a surprisingly lovely city! You will need your passport everywhere you go or enter (parks, sights, museums, trains, etc.). Overall, a wonderful tour, but I wish there was more time spent at the Great Wall.
