is the best tour guide we have ever had! He MADE the trip for us in more ways than can be expressed and counted. He was also compassionate enough and generous enough - to let us take time to visit special places and churches of interest to us personally...away from the rest of the tour in an appropriate manner. He gave us small delightful notebook souvenirs to document our travels - and led us to places where we could experience everything we wanted to. The meals were amazing and the hosts were fabulous! The bus rides were exciting and fun where everyone was engaged by talks and discussions about history and culture and personal experiences. It would take many pages to list all the happiness we shared together on that stupendous journey around Sicily! We have never been on such a truly wonderful trip! The itenerary was designed for those who have a reasonable level of fitnessso that the walking and slight elevations can be navigated more comfortably. The itenerary also afforded the opportunity to explore beautiful, historic sites that may seem to be to some, off the beaten path. We were able to explore the beauty and wonder of a variety of venues.

The excursions were timed so that we were able to enjoy the outdoors without fighting the heat of the afternoon sun. Great care was taken to insure the comfort of the coach and restaurants that were on the itinerary. The seating was changed daily so that the clients could maximize the window experience.

I had a really fun time with a great bunch of people. Danielle our Tour Manager was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure everyone was happy. I liked the fact that you weren't bound to do everything with everyone. There was free time to peruse other things to your liking. We had some very interesting visits to the Anti Marfia HQ in Palermo, an Olive Grove, an Almond Grove, a Buffalo Farm and some very nice lunches, to which we found that dinner was not necessary. A great sized bus, and our bus driver Salvadore was also very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was good, although it was very difficult to find an iron anywhere, so was a bit frustrating having to wear un-ironed clothing. All in all, I would definitely recommend Blue-Roads Touring Sicily.
