I am writing to commend Luke for giving us a really great trip. He wove history into all his dialog as well as sharing personal experiences as we traveled through each country. Really liked both the American WWII and Edinburgh cemetery tour as well as the fairy tree stop. Accommodations and meals were fine. Wished for one more free day in Liverpool and Cardiff.

We are 69 and 70 years old and reasonably healthy. We expected some long days with lots of walking on some days and that is what we got. The payoff was that we got a great overview of the UK and Ireland which is what we were after. To cover the same ground with other tour companies we would have needed three to four weeks to cover what this tour did in two weeks. Our tour manager and driver were great and did a good job keeping us all on schedule.

This tour was incredible. The sights were amazing, and our tour leader, Brando, was so knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic experience and that we didn't miss out on every opportunity he could make possible. The stops were so great, and the locals in each spot were so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour and have toured with Expat Explore multiple times. Every single tour I have been on was fantastic!

Excellent

While it was a whirlwind, we were able to see and experience sites we most likely wouldn't have in such a short period of time. Our bus driver and tour guide were amazingly accommodating and knowledgeable. Loved it!

Excellent

The tour was fast paced with long days but you couldn't do it any other way. We got to see so many towns, historic sites and places of interest. Our tour guide Brandon plus driver Craig were brilliant. Brando's history knowledge made the trip super enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour

Excellent

We chose the Expat tour over all others because it had just about everything we were looking for, a sample of all five countries in the UK with literally all the ""hotspots"" we wanted to hit, as our belief is to try and ""do it all"" when you go somewhere, there's too many other places t visit to go back to the same place twice! We really wanted to see Stonehenge, Shakespeare's birthplace, have a Beatles experience in Liverpool, the ""town with the longest name"" in Wales, the Guinness Storehouse, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, Ttianic Belfast, Loch Ness, have Whiskey Tastings & Haggis, and see all over Ireland and Scotland. It didn't disappoint, and in fact exceeded expectations as the one tour we were missing on our bucket list, the Wallace Monument in Scotland, wasn't on the initial itinerary, but wound up being a last-minute replacement over Falkirk...we were so glad that change was made as this visit certainly completed our experience! Of course to see all of these things in 13 days, you only get a glimpse of everything, but most of the trip had ample time to experience it all (you couldn't walk the full length of the Cliffs of Moher, but could still get a fair distance and take in the views...you couldn't read everything at the museums, but could get through the whole thing and learn something new). A few places were a little tight on time, and trying to eat and see the sights was a challenge, but overall, we were satisfied with the timings, aside from Bath & Glasgow. The only things that maybe weren't up to par were the Clydeside Distillery in Scotland and Spirit of Scotland show. Highlights were the Ring of Kerry, Wallace Monument, Liverpool, Loch Ness & Blarney Castle. Pleasant surprises were Glasgow & Edinburgh, Wales, Derry & Belfast, & Alnwick Castle, all lower on our list, but absolutely breathtaking and full of history. It was a whirlwind, but well worth it, hitting everything we wanted to see and more!
