Brisbane Tours in April 2026

I recently completed the 20 day Oz east coast adventure with Intro Travel and had the most amazing and memorable experience! My main highlights were driving on Kgari and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef; I had the opportunities on this tour to have experiences and make memories which will remain with me for a lifetime! My group was amazing and we have made friends for life. My group leaders Shannon and Val were incredibly knowledgable of all aspects of the tour and made it incredibly well organised as well as giving extra suggestions like good hiking routes and other activities to do in some of the free time. Thank you so much for the most incredible holiday and I will definitely be back in Australia!

My friend and I chose to do Oz Intro which was recommended by STA Travel, and I would highly advise anyone travelling alone to do the same! Whilst travelling is exciting, its also very nerve wracking at the same time, but we had the most amazing experience in the 9 days, and made friends for life with the other people on our tour. There was a range of activities in the week which suited everyone, but if something wasnt for you, you were never forced to take part. The leaders provided so much support within the tour and gave us so many options and opportunities when it came to work/onward travel. Not only that, they continued to support us once our Oz Intro trip had ended - we had access to the office as and when needed, had the leaders on social media so we could contact them for help or just for a chat if we were struggling - I definitely have to thank Tom for making the trip so much fun, and for all the support hes given me in the last 7 months!

Did this trip in Jan 2019 and honestly had such a blast! Had Tom as my trip leader and he 100% made the trip what it was and still keep in contact with him now! Made some awesome friends on this tour and got a welcome to Australia I couldnt of got elsewhere! As a solo traveler this was the perfect starter! So recommend!

I was very nervous when planning my trip to Australia. This was something that I had always wanted to do since I was young. I had researched many companies that help when starting a Working Holiday Visa in Australia and Intro Travel was recommended by a friend. I decided to book 6 months before I was due to arrive. This was the best decision I had ever made!!!! Even before I arrived I had all of my questions, queries and worries answered and was made to feel comfortable and more importantly excited!!! My leader introduced himself to me before I arrived which helped enormously and he was there to pick me up from the airport so the stress of getting to the hostel was taken out. The leaders at Intro couldnt do enough for me making sure everyday that anything I needed was sorted and all I had to do was enjoy myself. The itinerary is AMAZING!! I couldnt possibly name my favourite part but jet boating, the harbour cruise, coastal walk and port stephens blew my mind!! I was also nervous about making friends however being part of an Intro group is super fun and making friends is so easy. I have made friends and memories for life and couldnt have done it without Intro. Intro also helped me plan all my onward travel up the East Coast and further which was so helpful, most of our group travelled together and we have made much more memories since. The whole process was handled so smoothly and any questions were answered very well. I have even forgot to mention the part of working in Australia which Intro have also helped me with. Setting up life in Australia was a breeze with the help of my leader and I now know I have an amazing team to support me in finding work or simply any question Ill ever have. Thank you Intro it truly was a trip of a lifetime!

Where do I start?! I had the best 9 days with Oz intro! Going to Australia is scary enough when you are on your own, but having the tour booked made it so much easier. I had the most amazing experience and made some of my best friends on this tour! From the start getting picked up from the airport, given a run through of what we were going to be doing over the 9 days was so exciting. Getting to meet more solo travellers that I was going to spending time with, then getting to the hostel and meeting your roomies! so many laughs in the hostel and getting to know people better each day. The group leaders were so great, they told us everything about what we were doing for the day and what we needed. Doing activities I wouldnt have even thought of doing, jet boating was such a fun experience so much laughter and absolutely soaked, but so worth it! Going on a private harbour cruise in the beautiful weather, couldnt get any better! having a BBQ and sunbathing with new friends, epic! Port Stephens was so so cool, learning to surf, sunrises, seeing kangaroos!! all so much fun, memories that will stay with me forever. Also sunbathing on Bondi Beach, doing the coastal walk and seeing the insane views. The nights out in scary canary ; side bar, some of the best nights out ive had, the group leaders always ensured everyone was involved and we all had so much fun. As I was on a working holiday visa they helped us with what we needed to know, which i found so helpful. The group leaders were so great from start to finish they would always answer any questions and always helped us! I cant recommend this tour enough, great way to meet new friends, explore Sydney and much more. I would love to do this all over again, unforgettable memories. Thank you intro, for making my experience one I wont ever forget.

I did the Oz intro tour in October 2019 and I have not been able to recommend it enough to everyone I know thinking of travelling since. The intro tour is brilliant for making potentially stressful parts like sorting a bank card/SIM card, stress free with leaders who really know what they are doing. I was lucky to have Tom and Fiona as leaders who were totally professional when it came to the important things but great fun the rest of the time! The trip itself is brilliant for showing the best of what Sydney has to offer with nights out, trip to port Stephens and so many activities. A major positive to the trip is the opportunity to make friends. With travelling solo and never having done that before, I was naturally nervous thinking would I enjoy it on my own. The people I met on this tour I ended up travelling with and living with in Sydney afterwards -they really are friends for life. Finally, the aftercare that the tour provides is excellent. After travelling and deciding I needed to find a job in Sydney, I found myself in the Oz intro office all the time. It was a place I was welcomed to fix up my CV on the computer, use the WiFi, print out bits and pieces, fill up my water bottle and have a chat! It didnt matter if my original leaders Fiona and Tom werent in the office as every leader was so helpful and took the time to get to know you so thanks aswell to Poppy, will, Lucas and Sean! Every leader gave honest opinions on their thoughts on how to get jobs or where to eat or where to head out at night which has been great to have ever since when advice is needed! Thanks oz intro - you started off the best 6 months of my life and continued to be an amazing support throughout my time in Australia.
