We love everything! Julia was a great leader The only thing that may have been better was to stay in Garone and visit Dhalis house from there. But if it was sunny time it would be great to stay at the beach Also being dropped off in Barcelona wasn’t great. We thought that the last night would have been great to have and to finish our n Barcelona
An excellent experience. We very much enjoyed “Complete” Spain as there are differences between the south and the north. Our tour CEO was very knowledgeable and explained the subtle differences in culture, architecture and history between the two regions. Because of the small group size, the CEO was very successful in reaching out to everyone and creating a wonderful group experience.
Exploring parts of the Camino, travelling through the beautiful countryside of north western Spain and tasting some delicious local fare were standouts for us on this tour. We had a brilliant guide, Eddie and driver, Francisco. We loved exploring some of the historical sites such as the Roman walls in Lego, the medieval castle, and the 12th century church outside of Santiago de Compostela. Santiago de Compostela itself was a great experience - such a vibrant city. And snow , yes snow in the Cantabrian mountains, didn’t expect that. The cable car ride in the Picos de Europa National Park was very special. Great tour with a great range of sights and experiences . Very well organised.
We really enjoyed getting off the main tourist areas to see a bit of the “real” Spain and Portugal. Learning about the history of this region and of the Camino was an added plus. We also appreciated the small group nature of the trip, something which drew us to this tour in the first place. Our guide, Guillermo, was extremely enthusiastic and his love of history and the area is apparent (also the fact that he has actually walked the Camino several times himself 👏👏).
There was a really good variety of activities on the tour and we had an excellent tour guide who kept us informed and organised in a lovely relaxed and friendly manner.
The tour was really good, went to quite interesting places. Occasionally it would have been good to have had a little more free time in the towns and cities when the museums, art galleries and shops were still open- i.e. not just arrive at a place at say 5-6pm, then leave after breakfast the next day. Our leader, Cybelle , was excellent-organised, informative, friendly, fun.
