Amazon Ecuador Tours in February 2026

This was my first Local Living Tour and I enjoyed the slightly slower pace, staying in mostly one location to experience more depth in the area. The host family were exceptional and provided a wonderful and interesting time.

My recent trip to the Amazon Forest in Ecuador with G Adventures surpassed all expectations and stands out as the best adventure I?ve ever experienced. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable journey into the heart of the Amazon. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the incredible hosting family we stayed with. His deep knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem, combined with his passion for adventure and commitment to ensuring our safety and enjoyment, truly made him the heart and soul of our experience. Andreas insights and stories added depth to every moment of our journey, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Throughout the trip, every activity was thoughtfully curated to provide us with authentic and immersive experiences in the Amazon. Whether it was hiking through the lush rainforest, encountering diverse wildlife, or engaging with local communities, each day brought new adventures and unforgettable memories. I cannot recommend this trip with G Adventures highly enough. This tour exceeded my high expectations. I was looking to immerse myself in the Amazon, learn about local culture and tradition, and see many of the plants (especially the rubber tree) in their natural habitat. Not only did the tour provide all that - but waterfalls, swimming, and biking, too!

It was a relaxing, fun filled and laughter filled adventure. With amazing people, activities and a great way to enjoy and learn about Ecuador. I am so grateful for the unique opportunity and the amazing people I got to meet along my journey!
