This was the best tour I've ever been on! Our guide Matt was incredible from start to finish. He was knowledgable about the animals and history, made us laugh and kept us safe at all times. I experienced the culture from not only Matt but from our game drive trackers, excursion tour guides, and Timbavati Lodge staff. When I was unexpectedly scratched by a monkey Matt made sure I was ok and got me to the doctor to ease my mind. I made friends for life with my fellow travelers and can't wait to go on another adventure with Expat next year!

I love the way we're given options on additional side-tours based on physical capability. Challenges made us more cohesive and in turn made us developed new relationships as one-tight-knit group as we watched each others' back even when we are having fun. This tour of the Eastern part of the USA and Canada really changed my perception of both these countries. I would think I have seen, tasted and heard all about these countries before even setting foot on their soils but experiencing these nations in person has enhanced and even changed what I thought I knew. Starting with the three nights in New York, journeying north through New England and into Quebec and venturing East through Ottawa, Toronto to the breath-taking Niagara Falls and going down south into Mid-Western America through Detroit, Pittsburgh and eventually arriving in Washington DC, this trip had it all and it's an experience I won't forget! If you are curious about this part of the North American continent, then I would recommend going on this tour. The customer service as well as our accommodations/food were the best we have had on any tour we have taken. It was a definite plus being met at the airports and transferred. The tour was a total of 15 days, and while fast-paced, the overall experience was magnificent! The locations visited were breathtaking, and the knowledge provided by our tour guide Ramez was unsurpassed. I cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond in making everyone feel welcome and safe during the tour while bringing much fun to the adventure. Great thought went into the planning of the itinerary (particularly in Egypt), so that we would visit attractions at times when both crowds and the heat were minimal. Favourite activities included visiting the Valley of the Kings (including the sunrise hot air balloon ride over the region), Abu Simbel, and the overnight felucca ride which included dancing and merryment around a fire for a group member's birthday. Our group was of about 15, and by the end of the trip we all became great friends. The Jordan segment of the trip was slightly more rushed and disorganised, but still very much enjoyable.
