We had the most incredible time on our 13 day Best of UK and Ireland Tour! We hadn't been on a bus tour before and were unsure about having to move most days and spend a lot of time travelling on a bus. As it turned out it was not an issue being packed up most mornings and we loved being on the bus...it was just one huge, amazing adventure! Our Tour Leader Luke, related so well to people from all around the world of different ages with a sense of fun. The information and stories he shared enhanced our trip enormously; we learnt so much, things we would have never known if we were travelling on our own. He was a wealth of knowledge and his engagement with everyone and organisational skills were next level! There was a very friendly vibe on the tour and it was fantastic chatting with people from other countries or other parts of Australia. I knew nothing about Expat Tours and literally picked them out of a search engine and took a leap of faith. That leap led me to the most memorable, life changing perfect vacation. My trip was absolutely amazing in ever way. It started with my Fantastic tour guide and bus driver. The days were planned and organized so well. We just got back from the Best of Europe (22 day tour) and it was an amazing experience, but group travel is not for everyone. If you want to meet new people to explore Europe with & can handle being on a schedule - then group travel is for you. If you want to isolate yourself, have trouble with compromise, and are looking to complain about your fellow travelers and the tour guide - then group travel is not for you. Emma (tour guide) was amazing and reminded professional throughout the tour. She was always willing to answer questions and give a quick history & language lesson about the different cities in Europe. She made the entire trip enjoyable and manageable as she is an excellent communicator. As for the tour itself, there are a lot of cities and, at times, it's hard to keep them straight - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This tour gives you a good sense of what Europe is like and where one may want to visit again. The local tour guides were very good for the most part

I love to make the most out of my trips so getting up early and go go go see everything I can in a small amount of time is my kind of adventure. My one piece of advice is to at LEAST do the "Pairs Plus" and the "Jungfraujoch" (the Alps in Switzerland) options. I know it is a lot of money but definitely 100% worth it, and you came all that way. I have to give a huge shout out to Bobby our driver he made the trip for many of us with this sense of humour. The only con that I had for the entire trip was the river rhine cruise in Germany. We drove along the river while our tour guide Steve told us all about the buildings, castles and the story of Lorelei. We then got on the cruise down the same river in the opposite direction and saw everything all over again. I as well as many others in our group thought that it would have been time better spent to stop in little towns all the way to our hotel and experience Germany. But all in all, it was a Fantastic trip.
