All good! I love especially our scheduled early arrival for each tour site. We were able to avoid a long queue or a crowd of other tourists. Hence, taking good photos of great sceneries! Attached photo was taken at the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria.

The entire tour was fabulous. Great mix of free time and group events. All of the hotels and restaurants that were part of the tour were well chosen. Vili our tour manager was absolutely fantastic. Loved every minute of every day.

The Enchanting Christmas Market tour was wonderful! Our tour guide Javier was awesome! He was very organized and friendly and helpful. The cities we visited were amazing. There were organized local tours and we had plenty of free time to explore on our own. Javier gave us a list of things to do in each city that was not covered on the local tours. My favorite thing was the Christmas market at Thurn and Taxis Palace. It was amazing! The whole tour was a great experience. We are taking the same tour this year and bringing our daughter and grandsons along!

1) You do have time to explore on your own. 2) Verbs matter. "See" vs "Visit or Explore". We saw the Melk Monastery we did not visit. Seeing is not equivalent to experiencing. If you are going to see something and not visit, leave it off the tour description. Then when you see it, it is bonus not a disappointment. 3) The Winery was a great experience. 4) Our included group dinner was moved up a day to Vienna and it was thrown together and lacked the experience that it would have had in Salzburg. We had good service, but the food was meh.

Very well thought out and packed itinerary, made possible by the wonderful travel director, coach driver, and local specialists. Takes out a lot of the stress of traveling while still leaving a lot of opportunity for you to explore at your own pace if you want.

Sooo fun! Contiki makes everything so easy. Other fun activities are always planned like the rollercoaster on the mountain and night skiing. I went for nye and the celebration was at the top of the mountain… an unforgettable experience!
