This was a well planned itinerary that focused on smaller villages and towns in Scotland, with tremendous landscapes to see There are two major cities included ie Edinburgh and Glasgow Edinburgh is more rustic and quaint and subdued compared to Glasgow, which reminded me of major metropolitan cities like New York or Chicago I would definitely start this trip in Edinburgh and end it in Glasgow because your time in Edinburgh at the start of the trip will in days not hours

My daughter and I went on ths trip together and we both had an amazing time. From the minute we were met at the airport, upon arrival in Dublin, the staff from Insight were very kind and welcoming. Everyone from our Tour Dir., Sicily, and even our coach driver, Paul, made our trip special and very memorable. We loved learnng about local stories and legends that went along with the sights we saw. The daily itineraries had just enough to do, but left us time to venture on our own often, as well.

Lovely itinerary. We covered all most all of Scotland. I especially want to recommend our tour guide Michael Doughty and our driver Nat Geursy. They were both exceptional Our accomendations were good. One was a bit rustic, but when you get that far from civilization, it is to be expected. Just adds to the experience.

We loved hearing about the history and culture of Scotland and Ireland. Pat was a wonderful and very knowledgeable. The excursion added a special touch to the tour. The other guests were warm and friendly and made the trip an A+!

The tour is advertised as a complete tour of Scotland and that it was. Covering the major cities as well the distant rural areas we saw it all. Even the frail and elderly travelers in our group were well cared for and had a great time. Castles, ruins, bars, restaurants, natural wonders, and engineered marvels were all in the tours.
