Barcelona Tours and Trips

The trip it self was excellent. The pace of the trip was very intense. I would have prefered a few more days added so there would have been more time to explore/spend in the cities. The majority of the nights were spent at one hotel and then we moved on. Either include less stops and information or extend the trip a few days so there was time for relaxation.

Tiago was our travel director and treated us like family. Very passionate about showing you all the highlights of the areas we went to. Extremely organized and punctual and our driver George was very professional. This was our first trip with Trafalger but not our last!

If we hadn’t signed up for the additional trips at an ADDITIONAL cost, we would not have experienced the sights that we did. The trip seemed like a base price and the extra additional trips added to the overall cost which we did not expect. However, we did sign up for all of the extra trips.

You will see things off the beaten trail, who knew there was an amphitheater in southern France still in use that rival's the one in Rome and is still used for bullfighting! In France! You won't miss the main attractions and you will do it door to door with guided service at every stop. Don't worry be happy! Our guide even took the time to purchase little treats that were local to the place where we stopped to give us a taste of the area specialty.

I travel a lot, but this tour was truly one of my favorites. Everything was thoughtfully planned down to the smallest details. The itinerary included some of the most beautiful towns and cities in Spain and Portugal, comfortable buses, an interesting cultural program, delicious local food and restaurants, live music, and amazing entertainment. The Flamenco show was especially unforgettable. The hotels were beautiful and located in the best areas, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A very special thank you goes to our guide, who was incredibly helpful, caring, and dedicated throughout the entire trip. He created such a friendly, fun, and relaxed atmosphere for all of us, and it made the journey even more memorable.

The locations visited were appropriate.The touring was good. The dining was excellent except for the last dinner in Madrid, that was just ok; we were late for dinner, which may have accounted, for the slow, inconsistent service. The delay occured because many of us couldn't get out of the stairwell in the last hotel in Madrid, where only 2 of the 3 elevators were working very slowly, missing floors. The hotels except for the last one in Madrid, were quite good. The Tour director Meaghan was superlative and driver was very good.
