The tour was fantastic Very interesting and informative and fun. The tour leaders were also very good, really well organised, considerate knowledgeable and always kept to the timings and that of the itinerary. Row and Gaby were our tour leaders. One suggestion would be to have more information on tips for the cities we visited so that in our free time we could make good use of tips that are recommended. Also, if the tour leaders could always include Thank you in all the languages for the travellers that would be really helpful - especially when travelling to so many countries.

Europamundo is just Fabulous to travel with. Only problem that I found was with veg food options for Indian travelers. If you guys somehow work on it , its very difficult for other companies to compete with you.

1. We were not happy that the hotels in Bergen and Stockholm were switched at the last moment from those advertised to others much farther from the city centres. Not consistent with EM stated policy of making it convenient to explore the cities. 2. As customers, we did not get any benefit from travelling with 1, 2 or 3 other Europamundo buses. We had to put up with big crowds at hotel check-ins, breakfast buffets and washroom stops. 3. Tour leaders were helpful and efficient. But their level of English and knowledge of the countries visited was not high.

I enjoyed the trip though it could be very tiring. It would be nice if we at least stay 2 nights in major cities and not packing everyday. The 9AM start and 6pm end, is the ideal. We get to enjoy breakfast and the hotel facilities, and have enough time for sleep. The hotels are well chosen and impressive, special mention to Clarion Energy and Radisson Vilnius. I am also impressed with our tour guide, Antia. She is very thorough in her briefing and very knowledgeable. Tony is also worth mentioning, he is over and above and well experienced guide. My only question with the guides, how come they dont give emergency numbers to us. We dont know how to contact them for special cases or if we have concerns. The trip went well in general, there was just one incident in Moxy Bergen in which my room was also given to another guest couple and they were able to enter my room while I was getting ready. This incident was mentioned to Antia and I also confronted the reception. Lastly, transportation/bus, it was nice to have WIFI access in all the buses as convenience for the guests and make sure to deep clean every after use. One bus still has a smell of vomit.

We were a family of 4 and after lot of apprehensions and research, we opted to go with EuropaMundo for our ‘Fabolous Poland and Fjords ending in Copenhagen tour’ 14 days. This was our fourth Europe tour overall and with EuropaMundo the first. The anxiety we had prior to the beginning of the tour instantly disappeared the moment our English tour guide YURENA PÉREZ WAHLBERG met us at the hotel reception in Warsaw on Day – 2 of our tour. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease that after that point the whole tour was just a roller coaster for us. She is a highly professional, well trained guide who we would rate excellent - 10 out of 10 stars. Her knowledge on the local, geographical, cultural and religious subjects was excellent. Furthermore, she always went out of her way and ensured that we as a ‘Family’ get our accommodation rooms next to each other. She is a reason we might opt to go back with EuropaMundo again for any of our future trips. The Spanish tour guide Paula was equally friendly and well informed and popular among her Spanish group. Our overall experience with EuropaMundo was satisfactory. The itinerary was organized effectively and followed to the T. Though people sometimes feel extensive walking / long driving hours but considering the itinerary, we felt this was expected and we were well mentally prepared as it was pre-informed in the itinerary provided by EuropaMundo well in advance. Even my 8 year younger kid could walk and keep up to the pace. Moreover, the highlight of the tour was that we could interact with co-passengers from different countries having diverse ethnic backgrounds. Everyone was so pleasantly joyous to interact with. We could learn quite a few new words in different languages while interacting with all. A big shout to one local guide in Warsaw – Agneska, who was so professional and excellent in her job. She was so well prepared and carried a booklet with visual photographs that depicted the entire history of Warsaw and Poland relating to the World War II. Her story telling along with the visual photographs created such a lasting emotional connect as if we were traveling back in time and reliving in that era. Hats off to her I recommend Europa Mundo to always hire her as local guide for the city tour in Warsaw. She deserves that…. Another big shout to our tour driver Marius – who ensured we reach safely to our destinations. Especially once there was some technical issue with the bus which he managed professionally well and drove slowly to ensure safety of all passengers. Areas for further improvement: 1.Solidarity centre visit in Gdansk together with World War II museum was bit overdose. Could have been avoided. Instead, free time at the town square could have been a better option 2.A boat trip at Geiranger closer to the narrow point of Fjord would have been a good inclusion 3.A little more time in the beautiful Sopot in order to have the opportunity to walk on the 500m pier and explore further My overall rating – 4.5 out of 5

Recommended activities and destinations for budget tours in Poland

Discover more for less by exploring Poland’s culturally rich yet wallet-friendly regions. Kraków offers free walking tours through its UNESCO-listed Old Town and Jewish Quarter, while Wrocław’s whimsical dwarf hunt makes sightseeing fun and cost-free. Zakopane, nestled at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, is a haven for hikers and nature lovers, especially outside ski season. In Gdańsk, wander the colorful streets of the Main Town and visit bustling markets for a taste of local life. Affordable trips to Poland often include folk festivals, pierogi-making demos, and stays in cozy guesthouses—allowing for genuine, down-to-earth experiences with a strong local flavor.

When to travel Poland to save more

To make the most of your money, plan your Poland budget tour between April to June or September to early November. These shoulder seasons avoid the high summer tourist rush, offering lower prices on accommodation and attractions while still delivering mild weather perfect for sightseeing. Coastal cities like Gdańsk enjoy breezy summers, but spring and early fall still bring pleasant temperatures and thinner crowds. Meanwhile, central and southern regions like Kraków and Zakopane offer golden autumns and blooming springs that are both picturesque and kind on your wallet. Traveling off-peak doesn’t just save money—it often means a richer, more relaxed connection with Poland’s charm.
