Trekking in Langtang valley is often called “the valley of glacial masses trekking “. The Manaslu Valley Trek is a remote and spectacular trek with steep tracks and beautiful views throughout the trek.
It is culturally fascinating with strong links to Tibet in the upper Buri Gandaki (called Nupri ‘the western mountains’) and the Tsum Valley, and even includes the Larkya La (5106 m) as a challenge. The views of Mt Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world, are marvelous and spellbinding.
The trek around Manaslu can be done more conveniently these days because there are several lodges available all along the route. The Trip to Tibet and China was one of most memorable moments in my life. The Himalaya mountains, the Tibetan monasteries, the Tibetan as well as Chinese people were incredible! This trip was on my “bucket list” and it exceeded all my expectations. Our group was small and very friendly, by the end of the trip we all became close friends. Our guides were super caring, knowledgeable and supportive. I am very happy that I did this trip!
