Malaysia Tours in Winter

I genuinely enjoyed my trip! I joined the group later on for the hiking part. It was well organised, our ceo Ricky has a true passion for his hometown Sabah and also south east Asia. Honestly after seeing the groups photos and activities I wished I did Sabah also! It looked amazing!

This is a very diverse tour from temples, gardens and markets in the Cities to Long Boat rides, safari vehicles, hikes and canopy walks in the Jungles, Rivers and Rainforests. Our Leaders, Mel in Sarawak and Hazli in Sabah shared their vast knowledge of Borneo and it's people with us. Hazli seems to know everything about flowers, trees, Animals, Birds, fruits, and veggies and history and culture of Borneo. He is very organized and caring about his group. We also had very experienced local guides in the National Parks to enhance our time there. Hiking through limestone caves in Mulu and viewing the exodus of thousands of bats in formation was spectacular. VERY early morning hikes, boat rides or game drives in the Rain Forest in Bilt and Tabin were well worth getting up for. We were lucky to see all of Borneo's Big Five in the wild, Pygmy Elephants, Proboscis Monkeys, Orangutans, Rhinoceros Hornbill and Crocodiles--AMAZING! I would also like to mention that I thoroughly enjoyed the overland part of this tour from Kota Kinabalu to Tabin with our friendly, helpful Driver Razali. While weather and wildlife sightings are unpredictable, I would have enjoyed this tour even if things had not worked out perfectly for us.

Our Explore Leader Hazli was excellent. He is one of the Best Guides i have had. we were so lucky to see so much wildlife thanks to him. It was an amazing trip and would reccomend it to anyone that loves wildlife

A great way to see the different parts of Malaysia, from the wildlife in Borneo to the different cultures found throughout Malaysia and finishing the tour on the beach in Langkawi. A memorable experience throughout, assisted by the knowledgeable guides on both parts of the tour and a great group.

In the first week, great nature trips in Borneo including Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and river trips/night walks in the jungle. In the second week, fascinating journey round some of the Peninsula's towns and cities finishing with a relaxing couple of days at the beach resort in Langkawi.

A holiday of two different parts-the wildlife of Borneo was amazing and the accommodation at Sepilok was so close to the orang utang sanctuary allowing us to spend lots of time there.To see so much of Malaysia during the second week and take in the diversity as we travelled far exceeded my expectations
