Reviews of our Malaysia Tours for September
Feedback from guests who toured Malaysia during September.
This tour by G Adventures was everything I hoped it could be. Nature enthusiasts will love this tour as there are so many opportunities to spot wildlife. We had a great mix of people and all ages in the group and the activities were suitable for all. Our tour guide, Jamil, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, good fun and made sure we were looked after. I would highly recommend both Jamil and G Adventures.
Overall, this was one of the toughest yet rewarding experiences. Our tour guide and the mountain guides made our success possible! Happy I took this challenge on and may even return to reach the summit!
I haven't quite absorbed all of what I have experienced on this trip. The animals, birds, insects and vegetation we saw is almost overwhelming. I have gained a stronger appreciation for this world we live in because of this trip. I will definitely take another National Geographic G Adventures tour in the future.
An incredible two weeks on Borneo and the Malaysian peninsula. The first part of the trip involves several days of wildlife cruises, whilst staying deep in the jungle, to search for orangutans, elephants, crocodiles and various exotic birds. We were fortunate enough to spot lots of interesting animals under the guidance of our fantastic leader, Jeffry. The second half of the trip involves visiting various towns and cities on the peninsula, including Malacca, famous for its street market, Kuala Lumpur, and Georgetown, a colonial town on Penang Island. There are plenty of opportunities for tours, sampling traditional food and shopping. Finally, the tour moves onto Langkawi for a relaxing end to the holiday. This serene island, featuring pristine beaches, wonderful restaurants and vibrant nightlife allowed my group plentiful free time to enjoy another part of the country before flying home. A wonderful holiday that encapsulated everything Malaysia has to offer.
A superb trip visiting some of Borneo's national Parks and remaining rainforests. Every day a different highlight. We saw some amazing flora and fauna from the big (elephants) to the small (lots of frogs). In between we saw wild orangutans, at least 70 different species of birds topped by 7 different hornbills, reptiles (yes crocodiles), lizards and beautiful butterflies. And, of course, stunning rainforest.
Two weeks of wonderful wildlife, rainforests, enormous caves and much more. We were extremely lucky to spot Proboscis monkeys on our first morning at Bako National Park - and then we saw wild Orang Utans later on our trip.
