We were lucky to have a highly experienced tour leader in Tommy Morales. He had to contend with various hiccups along the way (e. g the coach driver having an accident on the way to meet us in El Salvador) and he did this seamlessly, always with good nature and humour .

Great trip which encompassed seeing much of the country. Tour leader was impressive and added a lot to the tour. A complete mix of scenery, people and weather A couple of long driving days but expected when on a tour that covers so much. Great to visit Tikal, Livingston and the western highlands including Lake Atitlan and Antigua.

A very beautiful country with stunning rain forests and volcanic formations. Maya culture and the ancient sites were our reason for booking this holiday and we were not disappointed! Highlights - Tikal, Copan and the beautiful town of Antigua There is a lot of travelling and this takes a great deal of time due to poor roads and volume of traffic Hotels were good and we stayed in some beautiful locations

Our tour leader, Tommy Morales, was excellent! He was well versed and prepared during travel, restaurants and rest stops, cared for all 15 of us, and was always ready with a plan B in case of a travel problem. The only issue was the bus - we were crammed in there like sardines and when you consider the length of the tour the busses were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Also, as most of the tour participants were on the older or elderly side, having regular baggage delivery and collection would have been worth a fee (there were a few of the hotels where bags were collected). But based on what we paid for the trip and the itinerary, it was well worth it.

2 national parks closed. 1 for a year and 1 because of floods that had been there a month, but nothing else seemed to be put in place. Poor start to trip but it did improve and we saw amazing things. Some long drives as stated but second vehicle under-powered which made them longer. Guide was a nice guy but yes man that didn't always seem to listen properly to your request, which was very frustrating. Great knowledge of area and wildlife though. Good trip because of what you see but needs tweeking to make it better!
