An lovely tour that really took you through the heart of Morocco. From the local markets, the mountains and the Sahara desert. Those were just a few of many great ventures we took seeing so much of the country!
Excellent itinerary to see the best of Morocco in 2 weeks. Inevitably that means some longer days in the bus but always many stops at points of interest to keep your enthusiasm alive. From walking in the High Atlas Mountains to a camel ride on the edge of the Sahara to bustling Marrakesh and Fez and surprisingly clean and lush Rabat, this trip has it all. The ‘in comfort’ part of the tour title needs clarification- all have comfy beds with clean sheets but some accommodations struggle to provide hot water or even a decent shower curtain. Having said that, hotel/riad staff were all very pleasant and helpful as are the Moroccan people generally
This was our first group adventure tour that we have been on. We chose Exodus based on the trip itinerary and discussions with friends who had also been on the same trip. The actual experience of the tour was better than we expected. The tour was extremely well organised and our guide Khaled was very knowledgable on all aspects of Moroccan culture, very customer focused and helpful. Throughout the trip we felt very safe and our driver Mohammed was extremely capable providing a comfortable transfer throughout the whole of the trip.
The authenticity of this trip is amazing. Very cultural and very beautiful.
This trip included a really good range of experiences in this eclectic country. We feel that we have got to know a bit about how the people of the country live in quite different environments from mountain village to city, desert and seaside. Our guide, Tariq, worked hard at explaining the culture and was keen to show us the many different ways in which Moroccan people live. He encouraged us to explore and shop (and barter!) on our own. There were some long days but they were well planned with coffee stops and visits to places of interest en route. Our group of 16 enjoyed the journeys by coach which was air conditioned and even had wifi available for some of the time. We stayed in a range of hotels, each of which were comfortable and often had something special to appreciate, such as the amazing painted ceilings in the riads.
