Itinerary

The "California Coast, Chicago, and NY, Ending in Washington" trip spans 16 days and is perfect for seniors seeking a thorough city sightseeing experience. Starting in San Francisco and ending in Washington D.C., the tour takes in New York, Cleveland, and other vibrant destinations. With group travel, comfortable hotels, and meals included, you can relax and take in the sights. day 1 - San Francisco

Welcome. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.

day 2 - San Francisco

After breakfast, we include a city tour of the city, we will pass through Union Square with its trams, the famous Chinatown, Financial District, the Theater District, Civic Center and Alamo Square, where we can see the famous painted Victorian houses, with the contrast to the background of the modern city, which has been the scene of countless films. We will pass through the Castro neighborhood to reach the Twin Peaks hill, where we will have a panoramic view of the city and the bay. We continue through the historic hippie neighborhood of "Haight Ashbuty", and continue to Golden Gate Park where we will make a stop. We continue to the Golden Gate Bridge where we will finish the visit of the city. Free afternoon during which you can take an optional tour to the city of Sausalito, with incredible views of San Francisco and the bay. In the evening we include a night transfer to North Beach, "Little Italy", the authentic nightlife heart of the city, full of restaurants.

day 3 - San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel, San Luis Obispo

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Monterey’s jetty. Carmel, and elegant tourist resort. After breakfast we leave for Monterey, with time to walk along Cannery Row, with its old canning factories, now converted into restaurants and leisure venues. After spending some free time in the city, we set out for Carmel, an attractive tourist resort where we can visit its elegant shops and art galleries. Then we continue our journey to San Luis Obispo, a pleasant town to overnight.

day 4 - San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles

Breakfast and departure towards LOS ANGELES. We will stop to see SANTA BARBARA, with its impressive Mission and its streets of Mediterranean architecture with shops and restaurants. After some free time, we continued to Los Angeles. At the end of the afternoon we include a transfer to Downtown Disney to enjoy its lively streets and restaurants.

day 5 - Los Angeles

After breakfast we included a panoramic tour of this extensive city. Tour including music center, civic center and financial center, via LA Live & Staples Center. We continue along Wilshire Boulevard, heading west of the city, past the Korean Quarter and the Brea Ditch to reach Beverly Hills. Continue on Sunset Boulevard to reach Hollywood and find the Walk of Fame with its thousands of stars, the Dolby Theater, Chinese Theater and the Hollywood sign. Free time to walk and have lunch. Late in the afternoon, we include a transfer to Long Beach, where palm trees mix with the glass buildings, we will have some time in Shoreline Village to walk and dine in their lively restaurants across the Queen Mary transatlantic.

day 6 - Los Angeles

Day off in the city. If you wish you can optionally go to the beaches of Venice and Santa Monica or get to know Universal Studios.

day 7 - Los Angeles, Chicago

At the time informed by the guide, we will make a transfer to the airport to catch a domestic flight included in your trip. On arrival at destination we will give you another hotel transfer. Your guide will contact you at the end of the afternoon or you can consult the information in your hotel reception. Note: remember that on domestic flights, the luggage normally allowed is one suitcase of up to 23 kg in the hold. Passengers must pay for all excess luggage directly to the airline. Welcome. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information for the start of your circuit in the afternoon, or through the information signs located at the hotel reception. In the afternoon we include a transfer to Millennium Park and the famous The Loop neighborhood with its theaters and spectacular neon lights. Time for dinner and free. Accommodation.

day 8 - Chicago

After breakfast, we include a panoramic visit. On our tour we will see the most important points of the city: The New Millennium Park, the Willis Tower, Grant Park, the famous The Loop elevated train, Downtown, the Museum Campus that houses the Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum of Natural History and the Shedd Aquarium. We will cross the bridges over the Chicago River and see a panoramic view of the city from the lake. Rest of the morning free to walk the city center or admire the general panoramic view from the Willis Tower. Free time for lunch and to see Navy Pier. At the time of its construction in 1916 it was the largest pier in the world; today it has been converted into the heart of the city´s leisure activities. Optionally, you can take the famous water tours that will take you through the beautiful Chicago River, recognizing the varied and impressive architecture that this beautiful city shows us. day 9 - Chicago, Cleveland

We left early for Cleveland. Arrival in the late afternoon and free time to visit the Art Museum, Little Italy, with its exquisite restaurants or to walk Downtown. In the evening we suggest dining on the pleasant Calle 4 and Euclid Avenue. Accommodation.

day 10 - Cleveland, Niagara Falls

After breakfast, we include a brief panoramic tour of the city. We suggest visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, an authentic icon of American culture, where we are shown the evolution of this rhythm, from its origins to the present. After lunch, we leave for Niagara Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Accommodation.

day 11 - Niagara Falls

After breakfast, we set out for Niagara Falls, starting with “Goat Island” where we will have a close up view of the Rapids and the Horsetail and embark on the “Maid of the Mist”, small boat that takes us to the bottom of the famous waterfalls. In the afternoon, we visit one of the most famous Outlets in the city. Return to our hotel. Note: The Maid of the Mist does not operate from October to March, due to the weather conditions.

day 12 - Niagara Falls, Corning, New York

After breakfast, we will leave for NEW YORK. We will stop at Corning, famous for housing the largest collection of glass objects in the world. Those interested will be able to visit the spectacular museum, continuing to New York.

day 13 - New York

After breakfast, a panoramic tour of the city seeing higher, middle and lower Manhattan. We will visit Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Central Park, Columbus Circle, the AOL/ Time Warner Building, the famous Village, Little Italy and Battery Park (with the panoramic image of the Statue of Liberty). In the evening, we include a transfer to Times Square, the real heart of the city, with Broadway’s musicals and its spectacular lights. Note: If the confirmed hotel is in the Times Square area, no additional transfer is provided.

day 14 - New York, Philadephia, Washington

We head to PHILADELPHIA, stopping at Independence National Park with the famous Liberty Bell, and we will continue to WASHINGTON D. C. capital of the United States. Upon arrival we include night transfer to Georgetown, the liveliest neighborhood in the city and full of bars and restaurants. Accommodation.

day 15 - Washington

After breakfast, departure to the beginning of the visit of Washington D. C. We begin the view of the city, first we see the Pentagon on our way en route, with photographic stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial, both in Virginia. We will continue with stops at the Lincoln, Korea and Vietnam Memorial; We visit the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, then we will make a photo stop at the White House and finally we will border the Capitol, ending in the museum area of Washington. In the afternoon, we go on a boat trip on the River Potomac to see some of the main landmarks of the city. After the trip, we return to the hotel. In the evening, we take an optional tour of Washington by night and then return to our accommodation. Note: due to the weather conditions, the Potomac River boat does not operate from October to March.

day 16 - Washington

After breakfast, end of our services.
