Itinerary
Discover the soul of Hangzhou on this 4-day journey centered on China's rich tea heritage. This tour offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and sensory experience, from the serene plantations of Meijiawu (home of Longjing tea) to the ancient art of Song Dynasty tea-whisking. Beyond the world of tea, you will explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the iconic West Lake, the ancient ruins of Liangzhu, and the historic Grand Canal.
day 1Arrival – Hangzhou
Upon arrival at Hangzhou Airport, a local representative will greet you and take you directly to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the West Lake scenic area, where tranquil waters, willow-lined paths, and misty hills create one of China’s most iconic landscapes. Visit the serene “Viewing Fish at Flower Pond” (Huagang Guanyu), known for its vibrant koi-filled ponds and beautifully landscaped gardens.
In the evening, we recommend dinner in the Hubin Business District (at your own expense), a lively area filled with modern eateries and lakeside ambience. Afterwards, follow your guide on a walk along the Hubin Pedestrian Street, a stylish shopping corridor offering tax-free boutiques, illuminated storefronts, and a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.
Overnight in Hangzhou.
