This was the trip of a lifetime. We fell in love with Porto the minute we set foot in the city.....and Gaia was also amazing. Each town we visited was delightful and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Portugal by foot, by boat, and by car/coach. Simply amazing.

Had an amazing time in Japan! The only thing we can say which really wasn’t a challenge as such, was that on our last morning we were being picked up for the airport before the hotel’s breakfast time and we had already paid for that meal. So we had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Onsens are always a great experience. All three trips that we have booked with you previously have all been a great experience

This was our first biking trip and we loved it. Really great route - good for moderate cyclists who want a unique way to see the Netherlands. The first day was a bit lengthy but the daily distances were quite doable. We didn't leave the hotels until around 10am each day, stopped for lunch along the way and would typically reach the next hotel by 4pm. Also all of the hotels were lovely - the one in Zierikzee was probably our favourite. The standard bike was doable for the trip for my husband but I was quite happy having the e-bike.

The tour to the Kruger Park was excellent We were able to see a variety of animals including the Big 5 except for the Rhino We went to the Park for the 3 days we were there opting for the full day tour. We left early in the morning and was privileged to see the beautiful sun rise. The food at the accommodation was excellent and the service was great. Our guide and driver were very helpful and knowledgeable.

He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. Very interesting archeological sites with knowledgeable guides. Busy itinerary, so be ready for lots of walking and climbing stairs! Beautiful hotels, but a couple had large bathtubs that were tricky to get in and out of for senior travellers to shower. Meals were excellent, although a few optional very expensive. Remi was very organized and a great leader.

The entire tour was amazing, taking into consideration this was only my second international experience. My most memorable experience, if I picked just one, was our boat tour in Cassis. But I will say our group (22 people), was just lovely. We were a small enough group to get to know one another and share past, present and future travel stories. Let’s not forget our tour guide, Stephanie . She was lovely. Totally knowledgeable, accessible at all times and she was fun. She is what I would hope for in all tour guides 💕. Our next travel experience will hopefully be either Greece or Italy. And I could only hope that it would be as amazing and memorable as “Essence of France”! Would definitely travel with Collette again !
