It's not the cliffs themselves that make Halong Bay unique, but rather their sheer number. A huge bay, dotted with nearly 2,000 mostly uninhabited limestone cliffs, the breathtaking scenery is very similar to that of the Andaman coast of Thailand, Vang Vieng in Laos and Guilin in China.

This 3-day, trekking and cycling adventure will take you through the incredible scenery of Ba Be National Park in the northeast of Vietnam. What more we can say... First time in Vietnam, and the whole experience was incredible. Vietnam was gorgeous in many aspects from nature to people. I was totally amazed by the spectacular view of the caves in Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, while my parents liked the Hue countryside tour. Vietnamese cuisine was excellent, from local street food to seafood buffets. We tried egg coffee, and it was so good, you must try it when traveling to Hanoi. We bought lots of souvenirs for our friends. We bought conical hats in the village, which was making them for a very long time, and we even saw the entire process of making them. We also recommend you to look at the products with mother-of-pearl decorations, you will be pleasantly surprised with the price for it. Thank you, travel specialist for making my visit memorable.

This is an excellent trip. The countryside is varied, the cycling is relatively easy and the bikes good. The Vietnamese people are friendly and the food delicious. Our guide Binh was very knowledgeable and looked after us exceptionally well. He really made the trip.

Far ranging busy trip. Halong bay cruise with luxury accommodation and food was a particular highlight. Train trip overnight was interesting but would not rush to repeat.
