It was a wonderful trip thanks to an exceptional guide, Africa's own treasured wildlife and habitats, and the kind generosity of the natives who shared with us this spectacular part of the world. Yes, the pre-trip paperwork could have been less confusing . The logistics should maybe have been worked out earlier and more definitely. Nonetheless, all in all a fantastic trip I wish I could share with everyone I love. Please protect the gems we have left. Thank you for helping us be responsible tourists.
It was the best experience I could have asked for and I am so sad to be finished. Thought I would be sick of camping after 3 weeks but wish I continued with the longer trip now. The CEOs were honestly brilliant , Phillip came across as more of a friend than someone who was at work. He honestly made the trip Unbeleivable and is a great chef. He deserves a massive raise cause he literally made the trip. I couldn't imagine how different it would have been if he wasn't there. Nothing was ever an issue and just absolutely best craic !

I've been solo traveling for the last 9 months and chose this tour with G Adventures as my grand finale and I'm so happy that I did. Our CEOs were so knowledgable and helpful that I felt like my brain was off for half of the month. Every day holds some sort of fun adventure without the usual work that comes along with most travel because those logistics are being taken care of for you. In my option, there is not better way to overland Southern Africa than this tour. We got to see things and go places that we never would have been able to go to on our own. It was such a wonderful experience.

A fantastic adventure that really transformed my previously negative view of group trips! Botswana, in particular, was absolutely stunning and GAdventures built an excellent itinerary to have an unforgettable experience in Southern Africa. The tour guides/CEOs were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun – they did a fantastic job with a large group of travellers (many of whom were travelling solo) and really facilitated the creation of lifelong memories and friends. My advice to anyone looking to experience South Africa, choose this adventure trip! Especially if you have younger children and teenagers, they all can enjoy this trip. As for the adults, there is so much to see and experience and watching the kids was delightful. I'd love to do another one - and I understand Shaun leads a trip that goes more to the interior of Zimbabwe to an 11th century site - that sounds right up my alley! But this trip is so worth the effort to get there and meet wonderful CEOs.
I think the whole experience was so well organized and included a lot of exciting and fun activities. The group was well taken care of, well informed about what would happen next and not to mention warmly welcomed to Africa by the best CEO and driver we could have wished for! Great package, full immersion into Southern Africa with Safaris, and the absolute highlight the Victoria falls (make sure you book a helicopter flight on top privately). Also recommend to combine with Cape Town (went on my own afterwards and was perfect finish)
Africa was truly unique to anything I've experienced in the world. Thinking about the calm quiet mornings and the beautiful nights sky always relaxes me. Seeing the animals always gave me a thrill that I wont ever forget. I'm truly grateful for the experience.

Maximize your chances of viewing wildlife in Chobe National Park on this full-day excursion from Victoria Falls. Go on a safari through the park and cruise down the Chobe River with an experienced guide to see big cats and tropical birds in their natural habitat.
You will be picked up from Victoria Falls at 05:00 am and transferred to Chobe National Park. The half-day safari starts at around 06:30 in the morning and gives you a chance to get up close with nature in specially adapted off road vehicles. Lion sightings are fairly frequent in this nature reserve and most antelopes can be seen year round. Leopards are also not rare in the area. You will travel along the national park's waterfront, where animals congregate, with predators often lying in wait or just dozing in the shade.
The drive will continue until 12:30 in the afternoon. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before a three-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River, which starts at 3:00 pm and ends at 6:00 in the evening. The cruise gives you the opportunity to see lots of waders and water birds along with other animals.
You will be back in Victoria Falls at around 8:00 pm.
