She's attention to details, quick to response and goes out of her way to help address any questions and concerns that you may have. Although I experienced severe high altitude sickness, I managed to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Tibet had to offer. Our tour guide Dawa and our driver Dr. Guo were awesome. They were very patience and understanding. If you have to chose between standard hotels vs comfort hotels, chose comfort hotels. Some of my fellow travelers regretted booking standard hotels. Just beware, they don't have non smoking hotel rooms. The hotel rooms reeked with cigarette smoke, which got me sick at the end. My tour guide tried to get me a non smoking room, but all the rooms are the same. Overall the Tibet trip was a wonderful experience!

Everything was excelent and she did it great! We loved all of it. But the Amazon was great! Our best activity was Paragliding in Rio and the best lodge was Turtle Lodge in the Amazon. The only thing we didn't like were the mosquitos and the hotel in Manaus!

Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal with guide Mingma Sherpa was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. From the moment I met Mingma Sherpa, I knew I was in good hands. I just completed a EBC and Gokyo Valley trip organized by this local travel specialist based in Nepal, what a wonderful itinerary. EBC is a bit of a letdown as there isn't much to see but Kala Patthar, the glaciers, the mountain pass and Gokyo part of the trip certainly make up for it. At times challenging with the altitude but worth the effort. Everything went smoothly with the company, if you are traveling solo expect tto share a room in the tea houses unless you communicate in advance specific needs or request. Most teahouses have sharing accommodations and rely on income form meals, so unless it is planned in advance sharing would be expected. Overall communication was prompt and excellent, our guide was very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. Our group was very small, just two of us. I had a bit of altitude sickness and was unsure about being able to complete the mountain pass after EBC, I had no doubt arrangements would be made should I needed to come back sooner. The agency was also great with hotel accommodations and tours in Kathmandu. Highly recommend them, Arjum and Raj are geat to work with.

We, 3 friends, travel to South Asia for 2 Months especially focus on India, Nepal and Bhutan for Trekking and Peak Climbing. In India, We trekking in Ladakh for 13 days that was wonderful for us. Then we fly to Nepal for Peak climbing with Nepal Guide Treks. Next day, we headed toward Dhunche(a place) by bus then after we trek about 5-6 hrs every day for next 12 days. that was hard to us but also enjoy the beautiful nature, landscape of surrounded place of Langtang Valley. Our Guide Lakpa Sherpa and porters was helpful for us. Lakpa told us, various thing about Yala Peak, Langtang Village and valley, peoples and Culture. We moved forward Yala Base Camp and then to Yala Peak. That was easy forward trekking peak with help of using crampons and ropes. When we top of Yala Peak, that was awesome of himalaya like Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Naya Kanga Peak and other snow-capped mountains. Everything went well and scrency from top of the peak was breathtaking. We back to base camp and then back to Kathmandu. Larkpa Sherpa was great guide to us. His guidance can achieve the Yala Peak.

Initially before booking the trip I thought it was extremely overpriced.
However(our tour guide) was fantastic. He made the trip worth every penny and was extremely organised and knowledgeable. The locations were great, and the activities were really cool.
was a fantastic character, and became a friend by ensuring we all had fun. He looked after and catered for everyone’s needs and requirements, promoting safety above all else, and more than once went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great time (joining myself at CrossFit and his traditional dance moves were personal highlights).
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would love to book a similar trip with Contiki in future because of this great experience.
I would also recommend that you include huacachina in future - I went there on my own and it was one of the coolest experiences - maybe this could be added as an extra at the beginning of the trip.

A tour of 8 people plus our guide and driver, a perfect number for our van. A most enjoyable 2 weeks seeing the highlights of Turkey with some fine company My expectations were pleasantly met as to the variety of our itinerary be it mosques, historical sites, Greek/Roman/Underground cities, temples, ruins, natural attractions. I felt at times we were rushed a little through some Greek/Roman cities however I understand we all move at a different pace to take in these wonders, mine perhaps being slower The hotels were a mix of mainly 3 star with the occasional 4 star and all were suitable for a quiet nights rest. The breakfasts and occasional dinner on offer did vary in quality but I personally found them to be fine. I opted for the single-supplement accommodation however it was random as to whether I was given a room with 2 single beds or 1 double bed (preferable), there was no option given at check-in so that was disappointing. I also chose the tour lunch pack but in hindsight there was no need as eating choices were abundant for our luncheons I was pleased I opted for the excursion to Troy and Gallipoli which included a visit to the ancient site of Pergamon en-route, and I considered the hotel in Canakkale the best hotel of the trip I would most certainly recommend Eskapas and this tour for some wonderful lifetime memories of Turkey

As our guide would say "The point is this, my friends"... and the day begins. This was one of the best experience I have had. Our guide - Gary - made sure we were on schedule on the trek. He explained to us all the pros and cons and how to get the most out of the Inca Trail. The porters were great. The chef - Julio - made the best camp meals for vegetarians.
The scenery is breathtaking. Yes it may seem long and a lot of walking but its worth it. The team made the whole journey worthwhile - from booking to the end. Rosmel - our booking contact kept us informed all the time.

The Peru and Bolivia trip was absolutely amazing! The Inca trail was a challenge but I am so glad I did it. The salt flats in Bolivia was beautiful this trip really had everything! Mountains, volcanoes, desert. Honestly the best Contiki I have been on. The included meals on the tour did not disappoint
