Nearly all of the guides were wonderful. I don’t remember the name of the guide who took us to El Chaltén but we appreciated that he took us seriously as trekkers and suggested a slightly longer trek with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed that trek! And we also were very happy with our guide in Tiera del Fuego. She was very lively, knowledgeable and provided us with a couple of wonderful hike and a delicious lunch. We loved all she knew about the birds, trees and geology on the area."

Land transfers were crucial to our moving about the country and the app included necessary information about that. The tour company left a message at our hotel telling us what time they would pick us up the next day. They were exactly on time which was great. Our tour guide (Frank) was absolutely wonderful. So informative and he spoke english and spanish so well. I liked the fact there were only about 7 or 8 in our group too. It meant you had no trouble hearing what was being said. The walking tour of Valparaiso was a great way to see the place and if there was anything anyone in the group particularly wanted to look at it wasn't a problem. Lunch was at your own cost but it was a great restaurant that was chosen with wonderful views of Valparaiso. Visiting Vina Del Mar was good also and finishing the tour with a wine tasting in the Casablanca Valley was the perfect end to the day.

Wow - this was a challenging hike! Not so much the terrain, definitely due to the hot weather. Putting the heat, sweat and fatigue to one side - this hike is unique and rewarding.
