The tour guide was pleasant and well organized. The other passengers were friendly. I was disappointed in the meals. st dinner changed to shabu shabu. Much preferred bim bap, more authentic Korean. We had a buffet one meal and did not like this at all. Then we did not have the Korean beef bbq, but a fish bbq. Would have preferred the beef bbq. Overall the food was of a moderate level of satisfaction for me.

I had an amazing time on this trip! G Adventures continues to impress me, and I’ll keep recommending them to all my friends. I did the Merida to Yucatan tour back in 2023, and after just completing the Mexico City to Puerto Escondido leg, I honestly wish I had enough time off to do the entire route in one go. This tour is such a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, culture, and beauty, all at a very fair price! Even though I came home with a staph infection (worth it!), the experience was so much fun that I can’t complain. The memories, the people, and the adventures far outweighed any downsides.
