The view from top was stunning and the game drive within the crater area was breathtaking. One of the highlights is for sure the black rhinos, and we saw in total eight, although from certain distance. Amazing experience!

William was a great tour guide! He showd vast knowledge on everything from the animals to the nature that surrounded us. In addition, he greeted us warmly and was very nice throughout the whole trip.

In 1951, the enormous Serengeti National Park was declared, encompassing the present Serengeti, plus the Ngorongoro area and surrounding Crater Highlands. Today, this is split into the present-day Serengeti National Park, and the current Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
