The trip was good. Just need to be considerate about the comfort of your clients on the hotels you choose to book them, somewhere that will make them more comfortable after a long day trip. Some of your guides are exceptionally very good, however some of your guides does not know how to communicate well with their passengers hence some miscommunication. The rest of the trip was well organized, you have very good bus drivers. Just need to improve some your itineraries.

I really enjoyed traveling with Expat Explore in this Europe Highlights Tour. It was very organized and we didn't encounter any problem at all. Roma was a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide and she makes sure that we follow our schedule. Meanwhile Peter was a very skilled driver, he knows his way around (I don't think he use Google map or gps to get to places hahahaha). We really felt safe during the entire trip. This was a fast paced, action packed tour led by an experienced crew who went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was the best it could possibly be. Hats off to Darius our tour leader, and Florentin our amazing bus driver. With the two of them at the helm, I felt not only very safe and secure, but also in the hands of professionals. This tour covers a lot of ground so expect some driving days but you also have stops where you stay for 2 to 3 nights, so have time to soak up the atmosphere. In general, hotels are out of the cities and towns, but you always have the ability to use public transport to get around. Expect lots of good food too. There are many group dinners, and amazing buffet breakfasts every morning with great food choices for all tastes. As a solo traveler, I opted for nearly all the optional tours, of which there are many. I was not disappointed, and found them all great value for money. We were anxious at first to travel for 18 days with a group. But the tour was planned so well and Michelle was so professional. She always have a heads up on what to expect, So kids were also prepared their minds for what to expect. The itinerary covered lot of ground but we didn't feel it to be very fast paced too. There was one under par hotel ( the one in Toulous) which we didn't like. The rest of hotels n breakfasts were great. Thank you!

The river cruise was excellent and we enjoyed it greatly. That said, for a group of seniors some of the walking was difficult. Everyone managed but up hills was hard in some. The other issue on this trip was the lack of time for retail therapy. Either there wasn’t any time or it was brief. Our group always loves a few souvenirs but we just didn’t have time in some places. We had a walking tour of Cologne but only 15 minutes for the Cathedral. It wasn’t anywhere near enough time. If I’d realized we continue walking but end up back at the Cathedral, I would have just stayed there. That was my biggest disappointment. As well as being in Strosbourg in a Sunday but unable to visit the Cathedrral at all. The line to get in was incredibly long and we didn’t have enough time to wait. Both of these issues were very disappointing for me as I’d looked forward to seeing both. Aside from those 2 major issues, it was great! Food was excellent and staff was as well. Marcus Graff is wonderful!

We just got back from the Best of Europe (22 day tour) and it was an amazing experience, but group travel is not for everyone. If you want to meet new people to explore Europe with & can handle being on a schedule - then group travel is for you. If you want to isolate yourself, have trouble with compromise, and are looking to complain about your fellow travelers and the tour guide - then group travel is not for you. Emma (tour guide) was amazing and reminded professional throughout the tour. She was always willing to answer questions and give a quick history & language lesson about the different cities in Europe. She made the entire trip enjoyable and manageable as she is an excellent communicator. As for the tour itself, there are a lot of cities and, at times, it's hard to keep them straight - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I loved the coach experience, the tour leader was outstanding with her explanations of the history of the destinations and also providing extras where needed. Sam, the driver would make sure that we are safely offboarded and onboarded on the coach. Sicily you are the best.
