      I would definitely recommend this tour, greatly enhanced by our excellent tour guide, Hung, who was incredibly helpful, patient and enthusiastic as well as very informative. Our various local guides were also all very good. There was a good mixture of rural and city walks (without too much time spent in a bus) which included seeing local crafts and industry plus sights of historical interest. The highlights for me were the two day long hikes, one in Py Long Nature Reserve and the other in the hills leading to the Cham temples. Also, staying at the retreat in Py Long, plus the homestay in the Mekong delta were a real chance to see local life. Other walks involving walking from village to village, were also very interesting. My only criticisms would be that, as this was advertised as a walking holiday, it would have been good to have has more countryside hikes, and had less time in cities, particularly Hanoi and Hoi An, both of which were very busy and touristy.

      This was a trip of a lifetime! Our trip manger always went above and beyond for our group and ensured everything ran smoothly. There was a great mix of culture, history, fun and great food! The people on this trip made it even more special. Despite many days in temple wear with the heat, this will be a trip hard to match.       We had an excellent tour guide: helpful, informed, receptive and with a good sense of humour. Most of the hotels were excellent....some slightly less so (Nha Trang for example). The service on the trip was exceptional. The support team of transport, bag carriage and a cycle mechanic were also excellent. Vietnam is fascinating and being on bikes we saw all aspects of the country. We saw its beauty, we saw the industry and pride of its people who were universally very welcoming. We also saw all sorts of things normal tourists, arriving in a large group with little language ability, would not be able to see. Some of the best things were stops in markets, or by rice fields, or at very basic homes or cafes. We saw a lot and visited a lot of different places: a 'grand tour' if you can do such a thing on bikes! The country certainly has issues, in my opinion, with rapid over-development (in the south particularly) with endless giant resorts half finished, being built or built and empty. It also needs to address the issue of litter. It is not alone in facing these issues! I am also certain it has the ability and determination to address them.

      This trip was excellent. Our guide was great, the accommodations were varied but all very good, the food was good too. We really enjoyed the riding, it was varied and through lovely countryside on quiet country roads and lanes. The riding through the cities and towns was a bit more challenging, but the traffic was very considerate and we were well guided through by our guide.The organisation, along with attendant bus and driver, and truck and mechanic, was outstanding. We were very grateful for the electric bikes, some of which were better than others. Felt we had a very good experience of Vietnam. Thoroughly to be recommended.

      This tour was such a great way to explore both Vietnam and Cambodia without stressing over planning everything ourselves. It started in Saigon... super lively and full of energy. The Cu Chi Tunnels were very intriguing.. it’s wild to imagine how people lived down there. One of my favorite parts was the boat ride on the Mekong River.. saw floating marktes. Hoi An was hands down the most charming place on the trip with lanterns everywhere, cute cafes and lovely shopping.. I bought silk scarves and handmade lanterns. Hanoi had a completely different vibe, like more historic and chilled. We spent a day just walking around the lakes and old town. Ha Long Bay was unforgettable.. saw limestone cliffs, wow! The Cambodia part was shorter but still amazing. Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom were mind-blowing.. Overall this tour was well and everything from the hotels to the food and transport was taken care of. It’s a lot to fit in but if you’re looking for an adventure across two beautiful countries.
