This was a fun trip, but it was very fast-paced. It gave a great overview of all that the UK and Ireland have to offer, but there wasn’t enough time to see very much of it in depth. It’s perfect for helping you pick out the places you want to see again in more detail. It involves a fair amount of riding around on the coach, but the route is consistently planned with carefully spaced “comfort” breaks. Some of the stops in small towns were given too much time, when there wasn’t much to do or see, and some of the stops could have been longer, when there was a lot to see or do. Our Tour Director was excellent, and so was our driver. Most of the hotels were very nice, with a few that were just OK. The included group dinners weren’t very exciting, but they were reasonable and tasty.

Jam packed trip seeing the best sights of the UK and Ireland. The trip is fast paced and not a lot of time to immerse in each town but enough to see the sights and move on. Would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to see the highlights of the UK and Ireland with the knowledge of a trip manager to point out history and recommendations for activities food etc. Over the 18 days, I had so much fun which can be attributed to the enthusiasm of the trip manager and driver to make the trip enjoyable for us travellers.

It was very good. The farm with the sheep herding dogs was so fun. Edinburgh was a must.

The Bay walk and local expert in Galway along with the Viking boat trip were less than amazing. Could of done without:

Thank you director of the Journey throughout the trip and especially the coach driver, he’s so very protective of us, Very carefully driving and smooth all the way of the journey throughout the trip., he was A gentleman helpful. Throughout the trip, we had fun the tour director so cheerful and kept us motivated us going and protected us to make sure that we are OK and we were on board..
The people on the trip were friendly and helpful each others.

My wife and I were blessed to have a wonderful tour guide who shared his expansive knowledge of Ireland. He shared personal stories, read poems and sang to our group all along our journey. We also had a terrific driver who was super experienced and professional. We felt extremely safe with him behind the wheel. All things considered, it was a near perfect trip.

The people were friendly, the country landscape is varied and beautiful. Our tour guide and bus drivers were awesome! Hotels were friendly and so inviting! Loved the towns and history!

Many cities and sights covered in the 10 days! Excellent and experienced tour guide. Well worth it. All hotels are high quality. The one suggestion would be to select optional activities carefully. Whatever you choose will be added on to an already packed day. If you are looking for time to explore on your own or to enjoy the quality hotels you are paying for, it may be wise to pass on some of the extra optional activities.

I was victim of a pickpocket in Dublin, first day of trip and lost everything including passport
accompanied me to police station. Made police report. Helped me cancel credit cards. Get passport photos and offered a lot of emotional support

We were able to continue with the tour without difficulty
Pace of trip was a little hurried for us

I think Insight and travel industry should work with Dublin police to stop petty crime
Pickpocket thief is apparently well known to law enforcement
Posted warnings about pickpockets in high risk areas might help
The trauma, inconvenience and expense of this event have been significant.
As I write this I am in Seattle awaiting a regular passport….a six hour process and a 5 hour drive from my home in Portland.

Fantastic trip director and bus driver, Karin Reum and Noel. They made the trip a total experience with laughter, merriment, and compassion along our journey. Great itinerary, hotels, staff at the hotels and restaurants were extraordinary, and side excursions were great fun. I worked in the incentive travel industry for 30 years and I have to say this group was the best of the best. They really cared about our well being and always over delivered with little surprises to go above and beyond. The motor coach was awesome too! Exceeded my expectations!!
