A boat trip through this spectacular coastline is a must! We swam in crystal clear warm seas, anchored in small villages, ate at some wonderful restaurants eating fresh fish and lazed around. If you want a relaxing journey- this is it! We had only 6 people onboard which was nice. You make make a food kitty and buy groceries the first night to feed yourselfs for breakfast, lunch and snacks- in hindsight, I would have brought some food to share from Split where the store has more options- you can always get fresh bread in the ports for sandwiches. All in all- a great trip!

The walking route was nicely maintained, with the mix of hikes across the island. I literally have seen all the gems of La Gomera! The extra days on the beach after almost a week of hikes was amazing as well. It was my first self-guided walking tour, I was a bit concerned if I’ll be able to complete (not being really super fit), but it went so good - instructions are well written, it was easy to follow and on the route my hiking shoes and walking sticks helps a million. I was able to both work out and to unwind. Thank you for all organizational support, good choice of hotels and walking guidance.

Spectacular climbing expedition in Cordillera Real with ascents of Pequeno Alpamayo (5370m/17,618ft), Huayna Potosi (6088m/19,973ft) & Illimani (6438m/21,122ft). This is the complete climbing trip to Bolivia. The towering white peaks of the Cordillera Real provide a majestic backdrop above the vast Bolivian altiplano. This is a spectacular alpine region ideally suited to anyone who is looking to undertake a series of classic mountaineering ascents in one of the world's finest alpine locations. To ensure sound acclimatisation we spend time in La Paz and the ‘Island of the Sun’ on Lake Titicaca before heading to the snow capped Cordillera Real, where we undertake 2 days of instruction with our experienced guides to prepare for the ascents. An excellent level of fitness is necessary to help ensure your summit ambitions as we undertake a series of progressively more challenging peaks, culminating with Illimani, a moderately technical peak recognised as one of the classic climbs of South America. Honestly, this trip to Chile was something else. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but wow — it blew me away. From city life to total wilderness to the most surreal desert I’ve ever seen… it had everything.
Santiago totally surprised me. It’s got this cool energy. one minute you're walking past old colonial buildings next you’re sipping wine on a rooftop with views of the Andes. And the food? Next level. I was legit full the entire time.
Then came Patagonia and I mean, come on. You see photos online, but being there? Completely different. Puerto Natales was the cutest little town, super chill with killer views, and it just felt so peaceful. And then you're surrounded by mountains that make you feel really, really small (in a good way).
And just when I thought the trip had peaked, boom we’re in the Atacama Desert. I’ve never seen landscapes like that before. Moon Valley looked like Mars, no joke. The salt flats were insanely quiet and still, like the world paused for a second. And those mirror-like lagoons? Unreal. I took way too many pictures.
The whole thing was smooth — flights, guides, hotels — didn’t have to think about a thing. If you want a trip that’s equal parts adventure, nature, and just pure “whoa,” this one’s it. I came back with full camera storage and even fuller memories.

For a traveler on a budget this is ideal. A week in the Ecuadoran highlands, exploring volcanoes, cloud forest and local communities followed by a week in The Galápagos.
Our land based island tour gave us freedom of movement within the itinerary, allowed for personal exploration, choices of restaurants and shopping opportunities. We met giant tortoises, some wandering freely, others in breeding centres. We walked to the top of the caldera of the Sierra Negra volcano on Isabella. There were snorkelling trips with colourful fishes and a walk round North Seymour Island where frigate birds were displaying and baby boobies were fledging. Yellow land iguanas, black sea iguanas and SallyLightfoot crabs were plentiful too.
Back on the main islands, sea lions were snoozing on the pavements by the harbour, pelicans and lava herons were catching tidbits from the local fishermen cleaning their catch.
It was wonderful!
We saw all the wildlife on the Galapagos list for October, except the flightless cormorant. If you are a specialist looking for differences between species on different islands, then cruising may be better. However for the non- biologists this trip ticked all the boxes. It was 😊 GREAT👍

This trip was a truly memorable experience. First, fantastic awe-inspiring scenery that managed to be different every day, but always majestic and unbelievably grand. Second, an excellent guide who not only knew his stuff but managed our group in a very effective, pleasant, but low-profile way in every respect. He was always there for us, and necessary changes were handled seamlessly and pleasantly without fuss. Third, overall organisation, so that things happened when they were supposed to.

Was a great trip Day 3 of actual bike ride, day 4 of trip perhaps not as enjoyable as 5km of loose gravel road and then quite a bit on a reasonably busy road which we weren't use to, but the destination, was worth it.
We had a wonderful day together with Alfredo. Alfredo was the best guide ever!! He was excellent and was so fluent in english, he told us many interesting stories. He is an expert in Sicilian history and culture. he was both singing and dancing for us-we enjoyed it a lot. But most of all, he was such a service minded and understanding person. For example we were come minutes late in the morning and then we enjoyed the tour at the winery so much that we caused a delay in Alfredo's schedule but he was so humble and understanding. We highly recommend it to everyone travelling to Sicily.
