Our Kenya safari was an amazing experience with so many highlights. Beautiful scenery, comfortable and high quality accommodation and best of all we were lucky to see “the big five” close up as well as many other animals and birds. Memories of seeing lions, cheetahs and one beautiful leopard up close will forever stay in my memory.
Our tour leader Hussein was outstanding. He would always go the extra mile to make sure we all had a great experience. Always friendly, full of information and a great organiser, driver and wildlife spotter!

We Just finished our 5-day trek to Poon Hill Trekking. our guide, Raman was super helpful and made everything as comfortable as possible on the mountain.

I took this tour with my 26-year-old daughter as a belated graduation gift and it turned out to be one of the best things we've done together. We both love Asian food, history, and culture, but neither of us wanted to deal with figuring out trains or language barriers. This tour was the perfect solution.
Seoul was great. The subway system is clean and easy, and we loved how our guide gave us the confidence to use it ourselves. Seeing Deoksugung Palace and the tsunami-shaped City Hall was such a unique contrast. My daughter is into history, so the War Memorial really moved her. I was more fascinated by the traditional hanok homes in Jeonju.
Busan was cool and coastal. That view of the ocean behind the shrine was unforgettable. The ferry to Japan was surprisingly relaxing. We played cards, had snacks, and watched the sea.
Japan felt more spiritual to me. Miyajima and the Itsukushima Shrine were beautiful, and Hiroshima gave us a lot to think about. The hot springs at Dogo Onsen were so soothing after long days of walking. And I have to say that the bullet train ride to Tokyo? My daughter was giddy like a kid in Disneyland!
We both agreed that the night at Mount Koya’s monastery was something we’ll remember forever. Quiet, peaceful, and a total change of pace.

A brilliant trip covering many highlights. Our top 6 would be walking with Penguins near Ushuaia, Hike to Torres base, Boat trip on Serrano river, walking along Perito Merino glacier, hike to Fitzroy base, Iguazu boat ride.
Bear in mind that all except Fitzroy are add on extras costing around £1000 in total ( Perito Moreno is an exorbitant £400). The boat trip to lago del desierto is not available despite being shown as such in the trip notes.
It was a strenuous trip with long bus and minibus journeys as advertised.
We had a great group and Andres our guide was excellent.
It is worth taking lots of dollars and exchanging at the blue rate on the street which is around 20 percent better than the official rate and 10 percent better than credit card rate.
It was the best of our 6 Explore trips.

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek itself was a magical experience filled with breathtaking scenery and memorable moments. Each day brought new adventures and challenges, with the highlight being the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, where we were treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges bathed in golden light.
The teahouses and lodges we stayed in during the trek were comfortable and cozy, offering a warm respite after long days of hiking. The local hospitality and delicious meals provided a taste of Nepalese culture and made us feel welcomed and at home in the mountains.
One of the most memorable moments of the trek was interacting with the local Gurung and Magar communities along the way, learning about their traditions, lifestyle, and unique customs. Nima's translations and insights added depth to these cultural exchanges, allowing us to truly appreciate the rich heritage of the region.

Alex the tour leader and country guide for Georgia is excellent and shares his wide knowledge of the Caucasus region in an easily understandable manner. Whilst both the country guides for Azerbaijan and Armenia also very good. The overall itinerary is very varied and covers lots' of different aspects of all three countries. I particularly enjoyed the hike up to the Gergeti Trinity Church with all the snow capped high peaks of the Caucasus mountains all around. The trip is fairly fast paced and covers a lot of ground, so you need to understand that it's a great introduction or taster trip to these three fascinating countries and if you want a more in depth experience then you'd need to go back and spend more time there.
